So at about 9:41 pm I ordered a pizza, took a shower, got gas and then preceded to go to this particular location to pick up my order. As I was reluctantly let in the store, I was asked did I call in and I explained yes and gave my name to the gentleman at the register. He then looks up my order explains to me, in the rudest manner possible without cursing me out that they throw the pizzas away after an hour and it had been an hour and a half. I didn’t know that, it doesn’t have that on the recording when you call, neither was it told to me when I placed the order. Nevertheless carry out is closed but delivery is open after he stressed to me again with no remorse that it says it on the door. No problem. I go to my car and I place a call for delivery. The same Caucasian male answers the phone (I’m watching him through the glass). I explain that I’m trying to place an order (originally I said carry out but corrected the matter saying delivery) the cashier asks for my address and as I attempt to give him the address, HE HANGS UP IN MY FACE LIKE I OWED HIM MONEY, AND TOLD HIM I WASNT GOING TO PAY!! There were only two Caucasian males on staff that night one with extremely long hair one with a beard and a hat. No one had on name tags but I could point him out in a line up hands down. It cost nothing to be courteous. It’s apart of customer service. Trust me I know I’ve been in customer service nine years total. Everything from fast food, to retail, to call center experience. Not one of those jobs would have allowed me to keep a position pulling the stunt he just pulled. So Dominos I ask you what kind of employees are you...
Read moreAvoid this location at all cost. I had a terrible experience with the staff at this location. I ordered 2 pastas via the dominos app and it was this location that was the closest to my hotel( out of towner visiting bham) I ordered 2 chicken pastas and had them delivered to my hotel: i met the driver in the lobby and took it back to my room. Opened it and to my surprise i was given Italian sausage pasta instead. I dont eat sausage and haven't eaten sausage for over 10years. It took me 3 bites to realize i wasnt eating chicken. I called the store to alert them of this and the worker i spoke to who was named jovan said i had 2 options 1.)he will let his manager know and have them send out a new pasta or 2) i could get a refund. I chose option 1 as i was very hungry and it was already late at night(9ish)He told me it would be at my hotel in 30mins. 30mins go by and still no food. I give the store another call; come to find out, nobody told the manager anything and no food was being sent; so i was essentially just waiting aimlessly in the hotel lobby for 30mins. I ask to be transferred to the manager who told me no one alerted him of anything and that if i still wanted my food, it would be a 45mins wait. At this point i just wanted my food as i was still hungry and getting angry as time went by. Long story short i didnt get my food until like midnight. I guess i should have just gotten indian food like the rest of my friends did that night, but my mistake for trying this dominos store. Never again. So if you are like me and visit Birmingham Alabama. Avoid this...
Read moreMy order was marked as "delivered" when it wasn't, leaving me to speculate whether they delivered it to the wrong place. I tried to phone the store about this 13 times, but they never answered ther phone. I tried to file a "delivery insurance" claim, but they only offer 60 points or 20% off your next order - which does not cover the cost of the food I lost. I wasted a bunch of time trying to find "support" contact info on the website and subsequently filling out the email form. Now I was starting to worry about having to charge this back through the bank after a few days and finding other food now that it was getting late and most places already closed.
My food was finally delivered almost an hour after it was marked "delivered" in the app. The driver said that they remade it because it was taking too long.
My phone number was on the order. I wish they would've contacted me to tell me, or answered their phone when I tried to call instead of marking my order complete and leaving me in the dark.
That would also have given me the opportunity to ask them to just deliver it as is - I'd personally rather have received a slightly cold pizza earlier than a 1-hour-fresher pizza with the additional delay of baking another one.
I also could've been spared the misery of diving into the Dominos support rabbit hole only to find out that it is impossible to get a prompt replacement or refund in the event your food never arrives or talk to a human in any...
