Beyond Dissapointed!!!! Customer Service horrible. Driving back from June Lake on our way home, stop by the Denny's in Bishop with our family of 9. Walk in at 8:10am place our beverage order and food order. Other customers came after us and where serve first, walk to the front and ask for our drinks then they brought them to us. After 40 minute wait for our food, our food was cold, my daughter food had eggshells, our utensils were dirty and they gave us 3 napkins for our party of 9. When i told our server Moorne i believe that was his name. .. his excuse " We are understaff, what do you me to tell you, You need to face reality.. " I was so upset i did not touch my food i walk up to the counter i ask to speak to the manager. As i am waiting for the manager the server Moorne approaches me again an tells me "what do you need now" i am so livid by now i just tell him im waiting for the manager. Infront of the people that are dining on the counter and people that are also waiting to pay their bill and customers who are waiting to be seated he yells" i dont know why you came here if are reviews are so bad". Three families that where waiting to be seated walk out. The manager waived our 100 dollar bill and aswell 2 other couples that also complain about food and service. People save your self the trip your better off at a drive thrue. Cold coffee,cold food dirty utensil rude customer service to top it off. Will i be coming here...
ย ย ย Read moreThe waitress was polite, I'll give her that, but I felt bad that she had such an incompetent kitchen staff backing her. The food was great, AFTER they brought out my FIFTH plate. I originally ordered sirloin steak & eggs medium rare. They brought it out as well done. They also included onions on the hashbrowns that I requested none on (I'm allergic). The second plate, they brought out a flash frozen steak which was a jellified blood nightmare- disgusting & shameful to even label it as steak. I decided to "play it safe" & just change my order to a lumberjack special, all bacon (eggs, pancakes, bacon). Third plate here, they brought me it with bacon, sausage & ham. I told them it's supposed to be all bacon & they tried once more, bringing the fourth plate back with ham & bacon (getting closer!). They finally got it right on the FIFTH plate, but burned the pancakes! So frustrated at this point I just ate the edible portion! I had to insist they redo my receipt (as she was still ringing it up as a sirloin & eggs), then she charged me extra for an orange juice refill & I had to dispute the charge, as my original drink was GONE by the time I got my FIFTH plate! Needless to say, I'll be frequenting IHOP...
ย ย ย Read moreI can say we liked the food, but the service sucks. We have never not left a tip but we felt soo discriminated by our own race I did not leave a tip nor would I ever come back. Came here for mule days and I believe it was the restaurant manager that served us. Other tables with the Caucasian guest were checked on regularly, refilled their coffee, and we tried to get her attention she literally just looked away. She brings us the check well after we were done eating and then ask if we wanted more coffee after we had finished. My children wanted a refill but i was just so upset I wanted to pay and leave. To top it off my husband goes to pay the bill and there is one Caucasian lady paying and next my husband. No one offers to charge him on the second register they had and when he gets to the front to pay then they open the second register for the Caucasian man lined up behind him. You can read all my other reviews and they are not this bad. I don't know if other Hispanics around here dont tip and that's why we didn't receive any service, but they should not generalize all of us. Should have gone to...
