Bishop City Park is the best. The Bishop Chamber of Commerce on the Corner. The park has a gezebo and during the summer months they have outdoor concerts. The park has the Bishop Park Pool. Take a little walk you will see tennis courts and a public skateboard park. Keep walking you will see the pond. The pond has a gazebo. This is where you can feed the ducks. Buy duck bread at Schats Bakery to feed the ducks or bring your own. Near the pond is a nice playground for the kids. At the back of the park there is covered area where you can throw parties. The playground is a great spot for them to run around and play, though it would benefit from some shade covering. There’s a charming body of water running through the park, where we enjoyed watching the ducks.
The park also has a large community pool, which seemed very popular, although we didn’t visit that area. One downside is the somewhat limited parking, as many spaces are taken by people visiting nearby restaurants.
