RibCrib BBQ — Restaurant in Bixby

I know it’s crazy times so I try to plan ahead. On Saturday before Memorial Day I got online to indicate I wanted catering on Memorial Day for 6:00pm. They just wanted contact information and not your order. So I entered my information. By 1:00pm Memorial Day I still had not heard from anyone so I called, placed my order, told them I would pick up at 5:45. I arrived at 5:35, went in and paid for my order. There were several of us waiting inside and the parking lot was a mad house. We were told we couldn’t wait in the lobby, told to return to our cars and the would bring our orders out. They took down what kind of car we drove. I returned to my car. I waited and waited, saw people come and go. I went back inside to see about my order and was informed that they had not even started making it yet. I was apologized to and told they were very busy! I told them I had called in my order at 1:00 and I’d pick up at 5:45. It was after 6:00 at this point. This is the second time this has happened to me. The first time it was over an hour wait before getting my order. Both times I had people waiting on me to get the food there. Why do you even have catering or pick up when you can’t have food ready when requested? I don’t plan to ever use Rib Crib again for catering or pick up It’s managed poorly. Oh did I mention the brisket was dry and they forgot my paper goods that I even called a second time to verify there would be paper goods. Too many other good BBQ places out there trying to keep their doors open to waste my time...

I really wish we had a better experience.

We were seated immediately by a super kind hostess. About five minutes after being seated our waitress walked by and said be with you in a minute. Ok- cool. After taking payment from someone at the front, helping two other tables- refills, Togo boxes, payment, and chatting in the back with a coworker, she came and took our order (10ish minutes). We wait another ten minutes and no drinks. A kind teenager brought our appetizer out and I asked him if we could please get our drinks. Our waitress was at the computer leaning again the counter talking to another waitress. He brings us our drinks and apologizes. I got up and asked the hostess for crackers because our one year old was getting fussy because it was taking so long to get our food. I was told they don’t have crackers, which surprised me because every location I’ve ever been to does. Another waiter came out with our food, which was good. I feel portions left a lot to be desired. For the price I think there are better BBQ options in Tulsa. But, lack of being waited on really was frustrating. We had to ask for refills, was never checked on or asked if everything was good, and just the lack of service was bothersome for the price of the food. Our order was taken and that was it. Worst experience ever! The staff was very unattentive. I stood and waited to be seated for almost 10 minutes even though 2 of the waitresses saw me standing there. Then the waitress brought our drinks with her hands all over the tops of our cups where we are supposed to put our mouths to drink. Thanks goodness for straws. We ordered chips & queso, the queso was cold and the chips were brought out on a dirty plate. Then my salad bowl was dirty on just on the outside but the inside as well. When our meal came out my families was on a tray lined with paper which is what we are used to but mine came out on a dirty dirty dirty plate. If the dirty plates were not enough we were given plastic to go utensils, which wouldn't have been bad but she literally just brought the table in front of us nicely rolled real utensils. The food was cold and the meat was so tough I couldn't eat it. My ribs that I was supposed to have well it was literally one single rib which was so hard you couldn't eat. The waitress never came back to our table until we were done and she brought the check. I don't normally like to complain and definitely not post negative stuff but this representation from beginning to end you show be ashamed!!! I normally love eating at RibCrib but I can say we won't be back after...
