My kids and I drove more than 30 minutes to go to Pelican as a special treat for my daughter who did something really difficult earlier in the day. Google said it was open but when we got there the owner said it was a mistake and they were doing training. It had been a very long and stressful day and contemplating the hour of driving for nothing made me pretty upset. The owner could have totally ignored me but instead he got the trainee to make my kids two snocones and gave them for free. Thank you so much for this act of kindness. A great little spot, easy to walk to, super chill staff and lots of reasonably priced flavors to choose from. But I cannot give any place 5 stars to any place that doesn't have water accessible. I just wanted some water for my dog while we were eating snowcones, and I had to buy a $2 water bottle because they said the sink was only a service/cleaning sink. Even though I said it's Only for my dog not for a person, they refused to just give tap water for her. Outside of that, it'd be REALLY nice to just be able to wash your hands clean from sticky snowcone stuff after eating, and that's also not...

Really awesome place! I ordered a Skylite flavor snowball with no additional toppings or anything for my first try and it was a really nice treat! Had all the sweetness you could want from a nice dessert but doesn't leave a heavy feeling on your stomach. They also have ice cream which I'm excited to try, as well as 100 flavors.
