Awesomeness I don’t know about you…… I love ice cream all year long and especially when we get into Fall Winter Holidays!! I had to come and try the Homemade Ice Cream Capital of North Metro. I had the privilege of the owner scooping my two choices of ice cream, Black Cherry and Pumpkin Chocolate Chip. Delicious, wonderful and creamy, and I have to elaborate on the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip!!! It was amazing with perfect amount of seasoning and a lovely amount of Chocolate chip pieces. Yummy!! Prices were reasonable and scoop sizes were perfect!!!! What a wonderful story about the family that was on the wall and I am happy to say I loved my experience and recommend to all you ice cream lovers….. go check them out 💜✝️💜

Ps… I read a few of their reviews where people complained about pricey……. A horrible comment to make in a review, why ?? You might ask…… pricey against what …… McDonald’s or Dairy Queen …… of course for ice cream …. It is handmade old fashioned SCOOP ICE CREAM that is delicious. ….. not processed up the ying yang and filled with chemicals ….. please when you make comments like pricey…. Create perspective and then you will see ….. Big Dipper prices are perfect(maybe a lil low for the quality and personal experience) for what you get!!! Thank you 🙏🏼 Appreciate the Family...

Love this place!! Ice cream is second to none and when we want a sweet treat it is the preferred destination. Today I took my wife, kids and kids friends and enjoyed perfect ice cream on a hot day. After we finished enjoying our ice cream my 10 year old son asked the the young man behind the counter for a glass of water. To my dismay he said ”we could buy a bottle for a dollar”. I was dumbfounded as we have never not received a plastic cup of water when requested. I left feeling extremely discouraged and wondering if I would ever go back. As we packed into the car and we’re about to leave her comes the young man running towards us with a glass of water for my son. He apologized and stated “he was new and was not sure what the policy was on whether he could give a glass of water when they sell bottles of water”. My guess is the owner was on hand and overheard the conversation and immediately sent the gentleman out, through the emergency exit, with a glass in hand. I was so impressed with whoever was in charge to send their employee after us to apologize. They could have chalked it up as a learning experience but instead went the extra mile to right a wrong. Long-a-waited review. My little family and I frequent this area and every time we do, my 5 year old daughter begs to get ice cream from here. Ice cream is good but we have given this place one too many tries to consistently receive service that was rushed, unfriendly, and quite honestly racially discriminatory. It’s hard to forget the feeling of being treated differently… can’t think of another business that we refuse to return to for this reason, even when our child is giving us puppy eyes. Gives me a little reassurance to read that we are not the only ones that have experienced this here.

On a positive note, we have witnessed staff give 5 star friendly service to others (as others have mentioned on google reviews here).

Maybe in the future we will try again bc i would like to think that the world is changing and that even though my daughter has experienced this she doesn’t have to experience it when she’s old enough to...
