Placed an order in the website for it to be ready at 5:50. Arrived at 5:55 because I understand that places get busy and I didn’t wanna be there right at 5:50, and be rude.
Stood in line for 3-4 minutes because food was not ready on the shelf like it should be. Finally got to the counter and said I had an order for Abigail. And showed them the screen showing the order number and order pick up time. The cashier was very sweet and apologized which I was okay with and I sat down to wait. Then I heard the guy next to her call back to the kitchen they needed to get the order ready for my name. And the kitchen responded with “we haven’t started it yet.”
By this point it’s after 6. And I am still waiting. They have some kid come up to help on the front counter who has a longest greatest hair I have ever seen handling food. It made me nauseous. A few more minutes passed They then proceeded to hand my food to another customer without calling a name.
I heard her ask them who this was suppose to be for because she had a different order. And he said “your Abigail ain’t you?”
And she said no. Because I heard my name I stepped up and said no that’s me. I grabbed the food and said “I am suppose to have 2 beverages too. I’ve been here over 15 minutes from my pickup time…” And the kid mumbled something. His eyes were glossed over and red af. I asked him to speak up. And he grabbed a cup and walked away. The other male employee said “yeah so? We’re busy” Finally he came back and handed me my drinks. And didn’t say anything to me. At this point is was 6:10 and I went out to my vehicle. Food was good but when I went to get a drink. I had gotten half sweet tea and half lemonade. I got unsweet tea.
So disappointed with...
Read moreIn all honesty I haven't been here very much at all, but for some reason, it always feels like a damn good treat. Perhaps it's the rarity of those visits. Maybe it's the disproportionate over-excitement from my family whenever I've suggested this place (even compared to Culver's and Arby's - both of which I prefer more). Or it could simply be the chicken. Ah, yes. Mystery solved. It's the chicken. Look, this isn't fine dining, so they sure as heck ain't getting five stars on this review, but the chicken is worth a solid four stars all by itself. Aside from these generically basic observations, the headline news is I have no noteworthy complaints to report whatsoever. Except they don't have one in Cambridge. This needs to be remedied so my family can enjoy their chicken more often. I'm not driving to another town for fast food. No way. We go here only when driving through towards another destination. Though I'm sure management will read this review and immediately route my feedback onto whoever makes these decisions. I'm more surprised some of you are still reading this. I stopped providing any useful information whatsoever almost as soon as I began writing this sad excuse for a review. You even just checked back to see if that was true. I don't know why you did that. This whole episode is benefitting neither one of us at this point. All I know is you are hungry, but would rather waste time here with me than take care of that. Don't worry. This review will still be here. Go get your chicken before they close. I accept no responsibility for your...
Read moreUPDATE: Wanted to give them another shot because a while ago, they actually cooked the chicken this time. But, i have to bump you down to a 2 star. Foreal not going back. Whatever chemical they are putting on the bread has a terrible aftertaste. This time the bread and the fries was mushy. Undercooked I have to recook 30.00 worth of food in my ninja foodie. Here's the pics to.prove it. White fries and half toasted toast! You guys are a terrible let down. The people giving the 4 and 5 stars must of never had decent fast food. I have learned that if the line is around the block, please go somewhere else. Maybe people don't know when food is undercooked. I have gotten home and had pink chicken. I learned to ask for extra crispy and thats impossible I'm sure when you have a ton of cars. I tell them, I understand its alot of cars I am willing to wait on the side. I was given that promise on well cooked chicken that canes (at least on the u of m campus) used to be. I got home and has the same soggy undercooked chicken. I know its alot of people in the line, but we are there for canes famous chicken and was willing to sit in cars for at least 20 minutes. Alot of canes insides are closed, or people can't get out of cars for many reasons. We are still paying for food we can eat. Canes is growing in popularity, but first things first, let that chicken cook for however many minutes in the fryer, not just trying to get chicken out the window. If I see another line out to the freeway, I will cancel it and head to...
