I was intoxicated and I had to walk home down sunbury road and it’s a very busy road at all hours and the doors were unlocked I was able to walk inside and the women wouldn’t give me just a single burger so I could sober up some before I made that walk and I asked if I could walk thru the line and she said “no bc you might get hit” well thanks a lot lady for caring so much about my safety you would rather me walk down a very busy street that has no sidewalks intoxicated when a burger alone would of sobered me up enough I felt comfortable to make the walk and could atleast see straight. My ride left me I had nothing to go through the drive thru with I was very polite and still nothing so if I get ran over tonight I hope you serving McDonald’s on sunbury road Columbus Ohio was worth turning someone down that really needed the help and I was willing to pay. You know it’s completely free to be a decent human being and from here on out everyone I talk to will be told this story about this place. Wish I caught her name but I was so frustrated I didn’t even attempt to ask for it I just put my head down and walked out to prepare for this walk. At 12:00 in the morning and I can guarantee there are drunk drivers out leaving from work he bars and at least I would be able to react in a fast manner of one was coming at me simply if I was just allowed to buy one or two sandwiches. Hopefully you guys don’t make it a habit of hiring people that could care less about othered and can’t even do the bare minimum to get a good review for your store. Worst McDonald’s in Columbus on top of all that you always have to make two trips through the drive thru bc they can’t get an order right ti save their life. 👏 round of applause...
Read moreI've been going to this McDonald's for the last few years and tonight was easily the worst experienced. I sat in front of the speaker for a few minutes before I heard a female voice say "what can I get started for you?" to which I began my order. She seemed distracted. She wasn't responding to things I was saying and had me repeat myself more than once. After I pulled around there she was... On her phone! Ohhh that makes sense now. So the guy at the window reads back the order. She got the size of the meal wrong. I said this and he closed the window and she shrugged and he corrected it, but was not at all friendly or apologetic. I pulled forward to receive my food, and a sandwich was left out. The man at the window told another associate who was disinterested and denied it, and then he pointed to the monitor and she rolled her eyes and procured what I'd paid for. The two burgers were okay. The fries were THE WORST fries I've had from McDonald's in my life, no exaggeration. They were barely cooked. It was like someone put them in the fryer just long enough for the ice crystals to melt. The chicken sandwich and nuggets were similar. I couldn't even eat the chicken sandwich as the chicken wasn't cooked well enough. It was a really alarming texture and I don't think it was safe. The nuggets were also undercooked and mushy. Super disappointing. This McDonald's has forgotten things before but usually the food is decent at least. It'll be a long time...
Read moreUsed to be the place my girls & I LOVED to eat. Let me start this review by saying I NEVER leave negative reviews. If I don't have something positive to say, I keep it to myself. That being said, the new (male) manager needs to take a customer service class. He has been downright rude to both my daughters and myself on nearly every visit of the last few we've been there. Example: I asked for ketchup at the speaker & window, but I had to pull forward to wait on my food, which was brought out with no ketchup. When my young daughter went back in to get some he yelled at her & told her from now on if she didn't ask for it upon ordering (which we did, TWICE) that they were not required to give it to her. I have had several similar comments made to myself about various things: I was given the wrong nugget sauce & told the receipt said 'XYZ' and, next time, that's what I HAD to accept because they can't give that out to anyone else now. I'm sorry, but your employees DO sometimes hit the wrong button and I should NOT be required to eat something I didn't order b/c you are afraid of losing a little $$.) I understand wanting to follow the "corporate guidelines" as they are laid out, but some things you have to ask yourself....is losing devoted customers really worth it? RIDICULOUS! I will be driving a little further out of my way from now on to NOT have to deal with this ONE person who is singlehandedly ruining this particular...
