I’m relatively new to this area and was looking for a good burger spot but I only found BK on 2/4/2022. When I pulled up to the confusing drive thru it was 4 cars ahead and after 10 mins I assumed BK had low staff last night. I remember I had the app before so I refreshed it to my iPhone. Now I’ve been at the order box for another 10 mins. If I could’ve left believe me I would’ve. It was 2 cars behind me and 1 truck still ahead waiting for food. I place my order 2 whopper with cheese (no onions /tomatoes), 3 medium fries, double whopper w/cheese (no onions)- off broiler and fresh everything. Young man taking order said drive ahead and didn’t say my total as I said thank you he said nothing! At the window an inside customer seemed to have a large order, I saw 3 bags being loaded with burgers and stapled together . About 5 min or so the young man walks over and says $30 +, I said I have code for BOGO on the whopper, he said you’re suppose to give the code when you make the order. I replied the app doesn’t say that and I didn’t know but (he cut me off) he said I would think it’s logic , and said I beg your pardon - that’s rude when you can just add the code, last time I’ll be here it’s been well over 25 mins for fast food. He replied we not holding you hostage. I pulled out my camera to grab the image/video as I was flabbergasted at the level of disrespect and customer service. He handed me my food and didn’t even charge me, I said you forgot my payment- (he looked shocked and read the new total). I took my food and drove about 2 blocks, looking at my order I noticed 2 fries only, made a U and went in side. I said with your smart - disrespecting self you left an order of fries , he put them in a bag and I went home. A little drive - but arriving home BOTH WHOPPERS HAD ONIONS, & THE DOUBLE WHOPPER HAS BACON AND ONIONS. I AM ALLERGIC TO ONIONS SO I COULDN'T EAT ANYTHING. MY NIECE AND DAUGHTER TOOK THE ONIONS OFF THEIR FOOD AND ATE. I KNOW ITS JUST FOOD BUT WE WERE HAVING A BONDING NIGHT, WITH FOOD, SNACKS, AND A MOVIE AS ITS HER 13TH BDAY. THIS LITERALLY MESSED UP MY WHOLE EVENING. I’D PREFER TO GET RESPECT WHERE I SPEND MY MONEY AND FURTHER MORE GET WHAT I ORDERED CORRECTLY. Read moreThere's a manager there, a Mexican woman, who seems to not have any customer service at all!! There have been two different times where she has been nothing but rude and VERY unprofessional! The first time she was being a smart mouth and instead of helping us, she was too busy paying attention to her son who was running around and jumping all over the place. My husband had to snap at her for having her attitude with us for no reason, all we did was ask her a question about the meals. Then she decided to be even pettier by making sure everyone else got their meals first before giving us ours, the second time, she decided to not look me in my face while taking my order. Her son, once again, was running around the building like it was daycare, then she pulled the same stunt with our food, but I guess wanted to add some spice to it this time, because she didn't ask the gentleman for his receipt and gave him an extra bag of food. But when she got to us, she immediately asked me for the receipt even though she just gave this man an extra bag that even HE didn't know about. This manager has no customer service at all, she's too busy using the restaurant as a daycare and wanting to catch an attitude with customers if you ask her anything. Read moreReally bad customer service. Employee at first window that took my order was rude and whatever the opposite of courteous is... Her tone and choice of words were aweful, saying "what you want?"... Second window was worse. No napkins in bag and no straw provided. I asked for zesty sauce and the server said "no, that's only for onion rings" which I know is an outright lie. I chucked it up to laziness and said nevermind. When I reached in to the bag on my way home, I found cold fries still soggy with oil and no napkins in bag.
I've sent other people here for orders in the past, and consistently encountered missing items and over charges on bill when actually given an receipt. When I asked the manager for assistance with getting zesty sauce, I was told "there's nothing I can do for you .."
The service is horrible there, and you would be better off just giving your money to the junkies that hang out next to the dumpster.
Side note. The servers should probably use gloves because their long glittery finger nails look like they are one lawsuit away from becoming a serious health problem. The cook county health department has...
