Dozeli Pizzeria — Restaurant in Bloom Township

Our office has been ordering from this location for over 7 years for office celebrations, however this week we received the poorest customer service possible. I placed an order for a Dozelis Original without Ricotta Cheese, Pepperoni-Sausage Pizza, and a Turkey Salad. Same order we place at least once a month delivered to the same address around the corner. The employee I spoke with read the order back correctly, but when the delivery person arrived, they called to let me know they were outside. Every time we order, the deliver person comes inside the building to our suite on the second floor of our office building, so I directed the delivery person how to enter the building. 15 minutes later, I realized we still had no pizza, so I called Dozeli’s back, and they mentioned I MUST go outside to pick up the order because the delivery person will not go inside. Although I found it petty, I went outside to get the pizza, but as soon as we open the box, I see the Dozeli’s Originial is covered in Ricotta and they sent a single Turkey Sandwich instead of a Turkey Salad for the office to share. I call Dozeli’s back, they admit they made a mistake, but mention the manager handles refunds and won’t be in until 4pm and would call me. 4pm comes and goes so I call back, and the same employee tells me the manager actually won’t be in until the next morning but would call me right away about the matter. The next day goes by, so I call the following day and speak with another employee who says the manager won’t be in for the day and tells me they have a “No Refund Policy”. I explain this was never mentioned, I was simply told this issue would be refunded once the manager got in, and it made no sense a refund wouldn’t be offered knowing they admitted to making a mistake the day I called. The employee said she would let the manager know, and he would reach out. Five mins later, I get a call back from the same employee letting me know she heard back from the manager who is standing by the “No Refund Policy” and read off their rules about needing a receipt and the incorrect order should have been returned. This was extremely upsetting because none of that information was ever provided when I called the day of the order. I literally still have the Turkey sandwich in the fridge because it was never wanted. The day of, they never even offered to send the correct order knowing they made a mistake. It’s sad that despite the years of loyalty doing business with this location they still made no efforts to rectify this situation nor felt any remorse about it. Saying this all to say, I suggest you do not order from this restaurant for their silly “policy”. They make mistakes, aren’t accountable, and have poor customer service when you call them...

First time ordering (8/19/22) a deep dish SUPREME pizza from Dozeli's (on Joe Orr Rd). The pizza looked great and taste even better 😋😋😋. Spectacular pizza in Chicago Heights ! Yes the thin crust is awesome also. I'm hooked. Ordered deep dish (Supreme) again on 10/29/22. Pizza was delicious. Thank you for all that you do ! 8/26/24 - Jorge is a Superb Manager (Joe Orr location) who goes that extra mile to please his pizza loving customers. Thanks for all that you do !

10/11/24 - Hello pizza lovers! We ordered a huge thin (18 inch - multiple toppings) crust pizza tonight from Dozeli's on Joe Orr. It was on point. Juicy, flavorful and made exactly to my specifications. I am still hooked and spoiled ! Thank you Dozeli and please keep up the good works 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽.

So, last evening (2/20/25), the family and myself were having pizza cravings. We decided we would order from our favorite - Dozeli's pizza on Joe Orr Rd. We ordered the largest thin crust they offer with multiple toppings. Well, let me tell you, they delivered it to me and the pizza was spectacular and so delicious - as always. The manager Jorge knows how to keep us pizza lovers coming back for more....

Fun fact… I used to live on Ashland for 10 years (Chicago Heights) just 3 mins from the Dozelis pizzeria on Joe Orr rd and let me tell you…I moved like 4 years ago to Minooka and I stay loyal to this place !! All the way from minooka I still come here to get my wings, French fries and fried mushroom.. overall their appetizers. But everything at this place is a hit ! I’ve truly tried it all. Clearly I keep coming back for more. I will crave this place !! I wish I had a closer location tho but that’s fine as long as this place doesn’t shut down on me lol but I don’t mind this drive because it’s “pricey” but worth it every time ! The front desk is always customer friendly, social and they meet your expectations. Never have had a problem with them or the food for all those years they’ve kept my business I usually ring out by females, but this time Jorge rang me up and his vibe and energy said a lot about this place and food ! Thank you Dozelis for making me want to keep coming back ! Keep up the incredible work in that kitchen and being so customer friendly ! You guys shall keep...
