I was so impressed with Benjamin. He was the only employee on duty and other staff person failed to show up for work. But that didn’t stop Benjamin from serving each person with attention and calmness as each order was requested. After about 20 minutes, I asked if he was the only person on staff, he responded yes. He constantly addressed the line saying thank you and I’ll be with you shortly.
Several things impressed me about this young man (he appeared he was in high school age): He saw people come in and wait for a few minutes then abruptly leave but he remained focused on the order and customer he had before him A man who came into the store begging the patrons for money, Benjamin kindly ask the man to leave. The man began to challenged Benjamin’s request. Benjamin maintained his request and again kindly ask the man to leave via instructions from his manager (who wasn’t there either). Another customer quickly stepped in and asked the man what he wanted to eat and drink (of course we were approached by the same man early and he declined the purchase of food instead he wanted money), he purchased food and drink for him with understanding he would leave the premises. As the man waited for his food, he spoke aggressively to Benjamin. I’m not sure what he said but Benjamin’s response was that he was following the directive of his manager. Finally the man left with his sandwich and drink in hand.
Though Benjamin is young, he handled himself as a mature professional man! I applaud his commitment to his employer, the customers and his work ethic! I’m sure Subway is ONLY paying this SUPERIOR employee minimum wage (shame on them)! Not only should he receive a significant pay increase but also a big bonus!!! He not only represented Subway magnificently but serious kudos to his parents for raising an ethical upstanding young man.
BTW, I had #12 and it was...
Read moreThe Manager was rude and was cross commenting food.
It was a tuna sandwich that she touched and I asked her to change her gloves as I am highly allergic to all fish and seafood.
She changed her gloves without an issue...
She proceeded to touch the paper that she had touched to tuna with and then touched my sandwich.
When trying to explain, without being rude to her, she abruptly cut me off, was extremely rude, walked away and still upset.
She left her coworker there alone with a line. Her coworkers were trying to explain to her what she did by accident and she didn't want to hear it.
Spoke with the store owner and she was apologetic and I appreciated her apology. The young lady was told to apologize and she did with an attitude.
However, her coworker was beyond polite, professional, and apologetic for her Manager's behavior.
No one deserves to be treated that way. Own what you did, it was a mistake and an accident... it is ok.
I wasn't rude to her and never even raised my voice. Yet, she was unbelievably rude and...
Read moreI am a customer here regularly because I work on this plaza every time I come into this location and the worker with red hair is working she has a ugly attitude I understand sometimes people have bad days but this is every time I go in and also she is complaining about how she’s being overworked and isn’t receiving help ALL THE TIME!!! before I could even get through the door today she shouted at me and told me that she didn’t have bread (but she did it was just wheat) but I wasn’t even there for a sandwich and she was very rude and short. Also she doesn’t have an issue with complaining every time I come in I’m not sure if y’all need more workers to help her or if she needs better customer service skills but I refuse to come back to this location if she is here there was also two other customers there as witnesses to her VERY ugly attitude. It seems to me like she is only in a good mood when a male is on the clock with her these are just facts that I...
