CityScape Deli — Restaurant in Bloomfield Township

I was mortified how the young male employee was talking to and treating the lady who has been there for years. I say young male because he definitely was not a man treating his fellow employee in that manner, and even worse a LADY who help maintain the business for over 15 years that I know of. On top of that he was the one messing up because he called himself proving her wrong, and gave my food to someone else. Then he had to take it back from them and give to her for me. He made the place a fiasco. I have been here many times, but had not been in a while due to change in my eating habits. I went today because of their nice sandwiches and customer service, and it was a 50/50 situation. Co worker and I visited CityScape Deli today at lunch time attempting to eat lunch. Arrived at 11:30 (before lunch rush), and place an order within 5 mins of arriving. Waited patiently at a table for our food for 15 mins, after seeing 3 people get their food that came in after us, I asked if ours was coming up soon, considering lunch is somewhat of a time constraint. I drive from Ann Arbor to Bloomfield just for Cityscape's sandwiches. Zingermans cannot compete with the quality here, and everyone I have try them says the same thing: "wow, way better than zingermans". They're truly the best, and what's weird is that the guy at the front counter remembers me each time I come in, which is twice a year. Places like this just don't exist anymore, but I'm glad they got the family both working there and vibing there. Never change, cityscape! You are the best deli in...
