This place is easily 5 stars. If given anything less, you're a hater and a complainer. Cookies are so tasty, heavy, and rich. You can easily get full off one cookie. Very filling. Crumbl is the equivalent to Bakehouse 46 in the metro Detroit area. BH46 cupcakes are crazy good and fancy like Crumbl cookies. I have no cons to mention about Crumbl. I tried Crumbl for the first time last week. Best cookies of all time that I've tried. And I've been to a lot of places.
Customer service is pretty much nonexistent, which is NOT a bad thing at all. When you first walk in, you notice how small the shop is. I'm thinking it's like a Nestle Cookie shop. That's if you've been into one of those before they started to close them down.
You basically walk into Crumbl and order your cookies via the walk-up tablet on the wall. Standing room only. About 10 waiting customers can fit comfortably in the waiting area by the door. I believe it's "packs" of 4, 6,12 being sold. I can't really remember pack sizes. Once you've ordered, your order will be sent to the back kitchen area to be boxed up, that's it. Someone will bring the box to the front and hand them to you and say, "Have a nice day." That's about it. What more do you want in customer service? You're there for the cookies, not the bakers.
The cookies are expensive. If you want to be CHEAP, don't come here, then go to google to complain about prices, go eat somewhere else. It all about being a desert fan, not a cheapskate. I believe cookies are about 4.50 or 5 bucks a pop. I got a 4 pack of cookiesjust to try them out. It's a lot of hype surrounding this brand. I'll definitely be back for a 12 pack.
There's also a weekly rotation at crumbl. If you didn't see anything to your liking. It'll be something new the next following week. 4 or 5 different flavors of cookies than the week prior. (I believe) chocolate chip is the only cookie that's sold weekly?
Most of Their cookies are extra sweet & sugary because they have some sort of toppings on them or in them. Like M&Ms, etc etc. If you don't like that. You probably shouldn't come here then complain about there being creme or something on or inside the cookies. They have enough cookies sold without toppings if you want that. It's something for everyone at Crumbl.
So, to the folks at Crumbl LLC. To this location, staff & management. Keep up the good work. You guys are doing wonderful and have a great business...
Β Β Β Read moreThe store was clean, service was quick & the cookies looked as they should BUT there were a few things that put me off as a first time visit to this location...
It wasn't busy at all, yet not a single employee greeted me or any of the 4 customers that came in after me (it's a tiny shop, so it's not like u don't notice when someone comes in); and all the employees looked miserable to boot. One of them actually rolled her eyes at me as if my being there was a nuisance. My cookies were free but I still left a tip, in cash. The girl I gave it to didn't even say thank you and after all of that, I get all the way home and discover that my Biscoff cookie was undercooked in the middle.
If you're wondering, no I wasn't rude or difficult in any way - I came in, said nothing, placed my order at the kiosk, had maybe a 5 minute wait for my order (no complaints about that at all), asked if they were able to make change so I could tip them & went on my way.
I've been to other locations & have had positive visits every time. Maybe today was just an off day but I didn't like the vibe here at all...I'm not one of those people who expects to be catered to just because I'm a customer (I've worked many customer service jobs myself, so I get it) but at the very least, if u hate ur job or are having a bad day, don't take it out on...
Β Β Β Read moreThe cookies are delicious!! The staff are kind, but take a couple min to greet you (this should be done within seconds of seeing you). I came in to pick up my order of 6 cookies 15 min after they were supposed to be ready- and they hadnβt put the box together yet, so I had to wait 10 min when it should have been ready 15 min prior. Another man came in shortly after me, and they didnβt even greet him (even though they saw him) until after my order was fulfilled. I think the customer service is altogether lacking and could use more training on greeting customers and having orders prepared on time. Ignoring customers is not appropriate. Even if the staff are too busy to help in the moment, they should still say hello and let them know theyβll be with...
