Long Lake Market — Local services in Bloomfield Township

I purchased two delicious corned beef sandwiches from the Long Lake Market this evening. The sandwich lady in the meat department grabbed a fresh tomato from the market's produce department and sliced it for the sandwiched. She pulled some brioche rolls from the bread department for the sandwich enclosures. They were accompanied by Gielow pickles from Lexington Michigan - possibly the best pickles ever. Best of all, since I don't like mustard or mayonnaise, those two condiments were included on the side in little packets, so I didn't have to deal with them. It’s insulting how expensive the goods cost. $7 for a bag of Doritos sums it up. While some of the fresh food is good and priced decent, I can’t comprehend the incongruent pricing for everything else. It’s crazy.

I picked up a tuna sandwich. The tuna was in a sealed container. There was fresh lettuce, a tomato slice and two slices of bread. Also a crunchy pickle. I was waiting in the car to pick up a child from baseball practice. It would be helpful to add a spoon so that you can spread the tuna on the bread. I ended up scooping it out with the lettuce.
