We met Ibrahim about two years ago at a wedding event. We immediately connected with his welcoming personality, and quickly fell in love with his style of photography. There are a handful of other qualities that make Ibrahim so great at what he does. Among the many, his calm demeanor, his prompt and professional communication, and his humble, bright, and easy going personality stand out the most to me. It was an easy choice for us to select him as our wedding photographer!

We did an engagement shoot prior to our wedding in order to become comfortable with Ibrahim’s style of photography. Ibrahim met us out our requested location, and swiftly navigated us through the hour long shoot giving us directions to guide us with positioning when needed. His vision and creativity very quickly impressed us. He turned an activity that would normally make us feel awkward and uncomfortable, into an outing that was really fun and memorable!

On our wedding day, Ibrahim arrived on time. He was able to capture photos of our entire (large) family and eliminate all stress as our family members chaotically traversed our ceremony space waiting for their turn. He selected certain areas of our venue that he felt would provide nice portrait shots, and he also allowed us to select many other locations where we had envisioned taking photos! He recreated inspiration shots we had sent him, and used the beauty of the venue to enhance our photos. His energy and happiness throughout the day was contagious, and his and passion for photography was evident!

With both experiences, we received a “sneak peek” album of photos 2 days after, and we received the full album within 2 weeks. We are completely in awe of every single photo he has taken. The album from our wedding, which consists of almost 1800 photos (!!!!!), tells a beautiful story of our wedding day, and we couldn’t be happier!!! He quite literally captured every single moment from the day in the most special and organic manner!

Choosing Hayek Studios was one of the easiest decisions in wedding planning. From the first phone call, we were instantly at ease with Ibrahim. Not only did he boast a wonderful portfolio but he shared a philosophy of business that matched our goal for our photos: capturing real moments in a classic and timeless way. When I was worried about not having time to fit all the photos I wanted in because of the way my timeline was impacted by the scheduled time at church, Ibrahim spent time on the phone with me aiding in ironing out the timeline and the day of flowed seamlessly. Our engagement session was fun and Ibrahim delivered some stunning photos (we shot on the hottest day of the summer!). Our wedding day was on the winter solstice, one of the coldest days of the year and Ibrahim braved some crazy wind to get the snowy winter wonderland photos I hoped for. As mentioned, we had a stricter timeline due to the timing of our church ceremony/earlier start to cocktail hour. Ibrahim captured some of the most beautiful getting ready photos I have ever seen, including a first look that I originally did not think we would have time for. Ibrahim and his team were very respectful when our priest asked for no flash during the ceremony and achieved beautiful results. Some of my personal favorite photos were shot during our mass. After church, Ibrahim managed to get all the important photos while minimizing pulling us from the party. He captured so many moments that we couldn't have seen truly giving the feeling of being everywhere at once and allowing us to see and be privy to some moments we weren't present for among our guests. We truly have a photo with or of each and every person present and for that I could not be more grateful. Our bridal party and guests absolutely adored Ibrahim and he captured some incredible raw moments. Since our wedding my husband and I have spent numerous nights pouring over our album and I feel like we are still discovering new moments and seeing a fresh view point of the different moments of our day. Despite being nervous about being in so many photos on our wedding day, we knew we needed an excellent photographer and videographer to capture these once in a lifetime memories. We put so much time, effort, and resources into the wedding day that having a true professional was important. We met Ibrahim through a family member of ours who recommended him for not only being a great photographer, but also because he’s a great human! From our first meeting, we knew he was the one. We loved his portfolio of work and found Ibrahim to be personable and funny, immediately putting us at ease with his professionalism and understanding of our vision and anxieties. Ibrahim is a wonderful communicator and made himself available to talk throughout our wedding planning. He even created really helpful resources to advise and inspire our wedding day vision. We knew we could trust him and his team and we were so excited to work with him on our wedding day, despite still feeling trepidation about being in so many photos all day.

When we tell you we were speechless after receiving our wedding photos and video, I mean we truly lacked the words to express how grateful we were to Ibrahim and how in awe we were of his craft. Ibrahim and his team did an awesome job on the wedding day, keeping us on time, capturing all of the details and everything on our shot list, and ingratiating themselves among our guests. Knowing all of that, we had high hopes the photos would be nice and meet our expectations.

When we opened our gallery, what met us was beyond what we envisioned or expected. Our photos and videos are beautiful, capture all of the big and small moments, and execute our vision! This is what Ibrahim, Javier, and Mike gave us, not just beauty and art, but a visual representation of our hard work, the love that surrounded us on our wedding day and something we can be proud of.
