Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Bloomfield

I visited this Jersey Mike's location for the first time on Friday, February 21, 2025. I usually hold off until a second or even a third visit before posting a review, but I was so satisfied with the excellent service I received there that I did not need to wait. My favorite Jersey Mike's is located on Prospect Avenue in West Orange, New Jersey. Jersey Mike's Bloomfield certainly gives the West Orange location a run for its money. The service is excellent and the food is just great. Of course this review would not be complete without mentioning the one element that makes Jersey Mike's Bloomfield the great place it is: the staff. They are all the nicest people in the world. Very polite, they treat all of their customers and each other with the utmost respect, and they all do their jobs efficiently and extremely well. The owner of Jersey Mike's Bloomfield is named Lisa. She is a wonderful person. The manager of the shop is named Romaine. The same can be said for him as well. The second you walk in they will both greet you with big smiles on their faces and immediately make you feel welcome. I cannot recommend Jersey Mike's Bloomfield more. Great location I've been going to this particular Mike's sice the soft opening Mind you I set my standards high since the owner was there and everything ran perfectly that One specific day . Fast forward to last night Place was a mess The bread I wanted was not available so the substitute was thrown ! Bread was literally thrown then cut too big and then to small . Station was a mess containers not cleaned. Bacon was burnt siting in a plastic container . Cashier was in such a rush didn't ask if I wanted / needed a drink . Tossed everything together and wrapped my sandwich so tight then twisted the life out of the bag . Needless to say my sandwich was mush when I got home minutes later....

I ordered 2 subs here both #7 one with onions tomato and cpr and one without. They made them both with everything on it. The other sub was for my daughter who is 9 yrs old hates tomatoes and doesn’t eat spicy food! Then they put so much oil and vinegar on them they were soggy by the time they got to my house. Save your money and go literally ANYWHERE ELSE. Like how do you just slop stuff onto a roll with zero concept that people paid for the food!?!?!?!? It was the MOST DISGUSTING jersey mikes sub I’ve ever had. I normally go to the one in west Orange. But after this experience i honestly think im done with Jersey...
