I’m a big time foodie and vegan (health lover) while their sweet treats are good they are limited savory items. Exactly two. Today they feature a vegan jackfruit pulled pork for $15 and a lobster roll for $12.. I definitely was excited about the pulled “pork”.. I was disappointed in the quality. The vegan pulled pork was served on a low quality (wonder bread level)hamburger bun which provided very little room for the real goods.. it broke my heart because the goods in it were very good but for $15 not worth it at all for the kid sized downgrade of a meal. If that was the case for $15 should have either been two sliders (close to size) or again one nice sized high quality bread bun With the goodies.. It made me thankful I didn’t order the lobster roll. Savory goods overpriced. Stick to the little cupcakes and drinks.. customer service can be better as well. While I u sweat and she was on the phone with a customer for about 5 minutes she could have flagged me and told me “I’ll be right with you” and she asked didn’t ask me if I was eating in or out.. gave it to me told me to have a good day.. I wasn’t leaving.. I actually wanted to eat in so with no napkins I sat down to have lunch.. no good bye either.. so I said have...
Read moreIf I could put zero stars I would. I ordered a custom vegan birthday cake on 8/18 for pickup by 12 pm on 9/1. I arrived to be told the cake wasn't done and it would be 20 minutes more. I had a day planned and needed the cake. I left to run errands and came back over an hour later to be told they need 10 more minutes. The woman then comes out to tell me to make sure my car is cold and put the air on. It's quite obvious the cake was not baked and prepared for delivery. A 6 inch cake is now brought out to me in a half sheet cake box with tape and the top of the box is sticking to the icing that wasn't set . No writing on the cake and I was told they weren't aware they were supposed to write anything. I leave with this cake in my arms to walk to my car when the woman comes out on Broad Street asking me if I now want her to take the cake back in to write the name. I was like absolutely not. I literally paid $70 for a 6 inch cake that had crushed icing, not a color, decoration or even the happy birthday written on it. My first and my last experience. Horrible customer service. Shane...
Read moreSweet Trail Vegan Cafe is actually a recommendation from an employee of a chicken shack 😅, and I'm glad about taking on the recommendation. I experience good customer service; an employee is very patient and willing during my visit. I order a Lobster Roll, Taylor Ham (Vegan Eggs and Vegan Cheese, on an everything bagel), and a Got Da Juice (Black Mamba) drink. Before being Vegan, Lobster is one of my go to meal options. After eating Lobster in Maine, I'm familiar with different senses of tastes in relation to Lobster foods. Hearts of Palm taste good though I'm familiar with my Lobster bits warm. The Lobster Roll is tasty, and the chips support the Lobster Roll well. The Taylor Ham is good. I actually remember wanting to try the Taylor Ham first after learning of the eatery (another meal with a comparison from a Non-Vegan time): I like the Taylor Ham, not as warm as the Non-Vegan one I remember, though as good. Got Da Juice is so good! The Fuji Apple and Lemon are the most flavorful ingredients mixing well with the other ingredients! The eatery accepts multiple...
