Triple S Electronic Pro Audio Repair and Installations — Local services in Bloomfield

After dealing with a faulty Teenage Engineering OP-1, I had gotten a replacement under warranty, but this second one was now having keypad module issues. I shipped it to Triple S to have them repair it, since it was still under warranty. Teenage Engineering, though, had been having backorder issues for replacement parts for the OP-1, and after some months of waiting, Triple S was able to get them to replace my whole unit with a brand new one instead. As far as warranty goes, in my experience I can say that they were able to get it honored and get me a new unit; I’m not sure if I would have been able to do so on my own after my first one was already replaced. The wait was about 5 months, but I’m assuming this was mainly Teenager Engineering’s fault for their lack of replacement parts and having them wait so long for a reasonable course of action. Imagine my disbelief when i lookup where an op-1 can be serviced without sending it halfway across the globe only to find out there's only one place in the united states and it's a mere 4 miles from me. Triple S not only fixed it, but did it for such a nominal fee , didn't price gouge me. and their service sheet described everything they did which was above and beyond. as a programmer, i know what it means as a process to test something, test it again, and test it every which way. and for a 90$ fix, which i'm sure is nothing to them, didn't deter them from giving my op-1 the care i would have hoped. they fixed it, tested it, waited a day, tested it all again to ensure persistence. the turn over time was way below what they estimated. this entire transaction couldn't have gone better. quality place here , with quality engineers. makes me happy that a place like this...

Falsely confirmed my 2 year insurance over the phone and Tricked me into sending my device there… After providing all documentation of my insurance they held my device hostage…………….until I paid in full claiming ignorance of an insurance confirmation….I really couldn’t be more upset with them… This review is for the lack of empathy towards me on their own mistake. Oh yeah and their little insurance scam also breached the contract of my PAID FOR AND DATED coverage policy which is now void even though it lasts 3 years through next year. They fooled me out of a $160 repair two shipping charges and collaterally lost me a $250 dollar coverage policy. One that they still say they accept. Don’t...
