Tony Spavone's Ristorante is a b-e-a-u-ti-full establishment! We went here for the 1st time ever for my Uncle's memorial lunch. There is handicapped parking, there is a built in concrete ramp next to the steps to enter the establishment. The overall atmosphere is very welcoming, inviting and upscale. The way the tables are set gives the appearance and feeling of a very fine dining experience! I cannot speak to the price, because like I mentioned, I was here for a memorial lunch and the widow covered the expenses. The fabric napkins are a nice touch as to how they were presented on the plates. The alcoholic beverages are extremely priceless. In my own personal experience, they did not skimp on the amount of alcohol they put in each drink. Catching a buzz after ONLY 1 (one) Vodka Cranberry wasn't difficult. The waiter (well at least the waiter I had was very, very, attentive, kind, welcoming and just overall a great listener and he did his job VERY well! The fireplace in the center of the main dining area is a nice touch and adds a certain upscale feeling lit or not. The lighting is just the right amount of wattage and the perfect mixture of soft whites. The only, ONLY quam I have with this establishment are the bathrooms. The men's bathroom has 1 (one) stall and 1 (one) urinal along with 1 (one) sink. The restroom is quite small with no room to even think in there let alone move around with you and 1 other person. As for the female restrooms per my mom, there are only 2 (two) stalls. 1 of them is handicapped while the other is average. She said the woman's restrooms is also quite small with very little room to maneuver around. I don't know about anyone else, but who wants to be forced in close proximity to another person ESPECIALLY while in a BATHROOM!!! Restrooms aside, Tony Spavone's Ristorante is a very nice place!!! I mean, after all, it's not like the bathrooms are the places we eat, converse with family etc. In my personal opinion, I wouldn't let the restroom issue be the end all be all deciding factor in whether or not to go and enjoy this fone establishment! Hope this helps. Thanks for reading! Have a super...
Read moreI'm a longstanding patron of Tony Spavone's... 40+ yrs! I grew up here! So, each time I walk thru the entrance doors at Spavone's, it feels like coming home♡ There's not enough space for all the wonderful things I can say about my ("Uncle") Tony Spavone's, so I'll do my best to keep this brief ;) Many of my greatest memories are from parties, get togethers, family dinners, etc, at Spavone's. Tony always creates unique, fun & magical experiences for his guests with his beautiful singing! My most cherished memory is my wedding reception at Spavone's. Lynette did an incredible job creating a stunning & elegant reception for my husband & I! She was highly attentive to our needs/wants, as well as respecting our budget. It was a truly special night for us (we go back yearly to celebrate our anniversary). We brought our 2 children here a few yrs ago so they could experience what we had been telling them about all these yrs & they LOVED it! Tony gave our daughter the sweetest serenade, & she was seeing 🤩! It was so precious! Since then, when we ask our kids where they'd like to celebrate their birthdays & such, they always say, "Spavone's!" We had our son's HS Graduation Party here in 2022 (among many other visits last year). And we had our daughter's 8th Grade Graduation Party here this year (among other visits, thus far). The food at Spavone's... OMG! This is NO Olive Garden (no offense to OG; our son actually works there). But Spavone's is authentic Italian food & it is INCREDIBLE! And the garlic rolls... oh my, they are out of this world! Bottom line, you can't go wrong with what you order bc it's ALL fantastic! Spavone's is not just a restaurant. It's an experience that's timeless & enjoyable for all ages. HIGHLY...
Read moreWe haven’t been here in at least 15 years. Figured we were due. Very disappointed. We didn’t want the busy weekend fair with the singing. Just a quiet dinner. The inside decor looked about the same, dated, and in need of some repairs/touch-ups, but we weren’t concerned about that. Service was good/average. No issues there. But the food…is where it was a disappointment. We ordered two entrees, the house Braciole, and chicken Vesuvio. We had two different soups with our meals which were just ‘ok’ compared to other places in the area. The garlic dinner rolls were good too. The chicken Vesuvio was a decent portion (thigh, breast, leg, and wing) along with a few potato wedges, but the flavor was very disappointing, and I consider myself a Vesuvio fanatic. I have had much better at less ‘authentic’ locations. The braciole was the worst of all. While the portion was good, the rolled up meat was extremely questionable?? Coming from an Italian household and knowing different regions use various fillings/pastes between the steak, I was really disappointed. First off the steak?? I felt the “steak” used was almost a chicken breast?? Or it was a minced steak patty?? We were literally afraid to ask our server what mystery meat was used!! The filling had pine nuts and raisins, which was a first for us. Again, we understand different regions use various fillings, but this combo and meat used was not what we were used to or expected. I mean I was expecting a thinly pounded skirt steak, smothered with garlic, cheese, and breadcrumbs, and just rolled up and thrown into some sauce… not at all what we received. Sorry Tony, but your establishment WAS a hit years ago for us, but we will not be...
