My son and daughter Arrived at the store earlier in the morning. We were doing an exchange or return if she found something because the previous item that we purchased was broken and my son wanted a drink and I told him no and the cashier lady said to my son you need to listen to your mother said no and started going off on my son I kind of just let it go and I was like OK it’s not really her it’s not her place and I was gonna let it go it’s not a big deal so we left. Later in the evening my daughter asked if I could bring her back to five below because she wanted to purchase something else so I said yes we went to the store my children went in before me while I was parking the car I KMan both of my sons were in the Dribble Zone. When I walked in I mentioned to both of my boys to put the basketballs up another lady started to mention that it was only a one time dribble zone and the kids and She started snapping on my kids that was completely inappropriate both times they have no customer service respect at that store at all I don’t appreciate how they treated us at all and I will never ever shop at five...
Read moreI love five below, I love the items. The store was neat and nice. The staff however was fairly rude and distracted. A few associates were throwing items over their heads back and forth on sales floor. One cashier had the light on but it didn’t seem like they were open for customers since the associate was checking herself out while behind the counter. The other cashier who came to assist didn’t smile once. They asked one question and didn’t talk nearly the entire time. When they walked over to check me out they just stood there and stared at me. They didn’t say “hi” or “I can help you over here.”They didn’t turn the light on. Just stared at me until I asked if they were open to check me out and they said yes. When they did ask me a question, once I answered I got a dirty look in exchange and no response. It was a very cold interaction. There’s one wonderful lady that works there. She’s there all the time and is wonderful, but just about everybody else seemed like it was a bother to be there and a hassle to help customers. Just did not feel...
Read moreWasn’t too happy that the manager and co-worker on site were unaware of the store hours or for what was clearly posted on the front doors. I continuously knocked and no one answered but I arrived at the store when the website clearly said they were open until 10 so I rushed there and got there at roughly 9:38 plenty of time to shop real quick and come to find out doors are locked, I knocked then called the store and a male answered and said they were closed although I was standing in front of a sign on the door of the store! That said wed 4-17 thru sat 4-20 open until 10pm. Overall not a huge deal, but the paper on the door and the website which I showed the lady through the door that came up front to remove the paper I showed on my phone that it said open until 10pm. So again not a huge ordeal but definitely should keep employees and management up to date on hours of operation and update website if you’re going to be closing earlier...
