There were four of us that came for breakfast on 4/11/25. We all got something slightly different. Three of us got the biscuits and gravy, which we all agreed were horrible. The biscuit is cut in half and toasted, It was dry. The gravy I believe was made with Italian sausage and just didn’t have a good flavor for what I would expect Sausage gravy to be. None of us finished our biscuits and gravy not even a little bit. There was plenty of meat in the gravy, it just had a horrible flavor. I think they need to change the sausage they use and make sure they don’t overindulge on spices that aren’t necessary. Maybe that was it I’m not sure. I see old reviews on here where people say the biscuits and gravy were great. I’m hoping this was a fluke. There’s no way with 3 of us eating the biscuits and gravy That we would all agree that it was not good if in fact, it was good. There was plenty of meat in the gravy, but the flavor was not good. It was a flavor that you could not eat.Trust me, do not go there for the biscuits and gravy unless they make some kind of change.
Went because had heard good things and because indoor dining getting shut down tomorrow due to Covid. Very glad we did and will plan on doing curbside until they reopen. Service was friendly and efficient. The prices were very reasonable and the food was excellent. Ticked all the boxes. Draft selection was limited, but they had a local brewery beer on tap so was content. The tenderloin was insane, as you can see. Definitely get the pub cheese sauce for the fries it is worth the buck fifty upcharge. The place is clean and well lit with tons of outdoor seating. The main bar area is in all respects a bar- 4 big screen tvs with sports, a full bar and a fair number of gaming machines. All in all a nice last hurrah...
Read moreService was ok. The food was freshly made and HOT, no complaints there. The fish sandwich was made fresh and hot. It was good. The steak philly sandwich had just enough meat/peppers on it that if you moved it all to one side (and only ate half the sandwich) it was good, otherwise way too much hoagie roll for the amount of filling. I did like that it was cooked on a flattop and the filling hadn't been sitting in a broth bath all day. Their fries are coated curly fries (similar to Arby's). All in all it was a decent meal, fresh and hot and nicely priced. Doubt is get the steak Philly again, but I'd go back to try...
