Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Bloomington

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I normally don’t leave reviews but the unprofessionalism from the owner alone prompted this post. I received a sandwich and two bites in I noticed hair in my food. I simple just asked for a refund and stated I would bring the sub back since I only taken a couple bites. The owner told me he would remake it but no refund would be issued, I let him know I wasn’t really comfortable with another sandwich just wanted my money back. He then became really aggressive and stating that he was the owner while taking no accountability and that I’m happy to file a complaint. I said ok. In the middle of my complaint he’s bad mouthing and then proceeded to hang up before I could even speak. Just rude. Again, normally I don’t find a reason to leave a review but if the owner acts that way I can only imagine how he treats his staff. As much as I wanted to return and give him a piece of mind it’s best I just NEVER return to this establishment since Carter clearly needed the $10 more than me. Let me start off by saying the food was excellent! Love the quality and flavor of the ingredients. What I didn't love was the way my partner and I were looked at/treated in the store. The person to take our order kept glaring at us while we were checking out the menu as if hed never witnessed new people come into the place. After we requested our orders and had some questions about the process (again, it's our first time), he basically brushed us off by saying 'she'll figure all that out for you and shoved us off to the next person in line. Once they started working on my partners' sandwich, I mentioned how they didn't include the bacon on the club. They completely ignored it and continued to overcharge her for the food she wasn't receiving. My husband and I went here tonight and it was amazing. Everything was fresh (the cheese, ham, ect) the place was very clean, food was super good we got the giant and only ate half of it. We will definitely be eating there again! Prices weren’t to bad, for mine which was ham and cheese it was $13 and for my husbands which was like pepperoni, ham cheese and some other stuff it was $15 but yet again that was for the giant one so the biggest one they have which I think is a fair and reasonable price! I give them a 10/10. Only thing we didn’t care for was the paper straws and the paper cups just because after a while the cups make your drink taste like carboard and the straw was different so we weren’t really use to it haha.
