Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Bloomington

I love JJ's bread. I have only ever had the Vito sandwich, but I rarely want anything else. I tried their pesto pasta salad once, but didn't care for it. The Jimmy's chips are pretty good. They used to have what they called Jimmy's mustard, which was delicious, but for some misguided reason, they no longer offer that as a condiment. Too bad.

I usually order through the app for pickup and go through the drive through, which is unfortunate because you have to wait for the cars in front of you, who might just be ordering a sandwich on the spot. The parking is terrible.

The location on East Washington in Bloomington has a person working the drive-through who has no people skills at all. Personality of a wet sock. You expect at least a hello, but nothing from this kid. No thank you, no have a good day; NOTHING. He couldn't be less interested in what he's doing. This does not inspire confidence in how the sandwiches are prepared.

My pick-up order today included a sandwich made with STALE BREAD. Such a shame when their bread is a huge attraction of this sub shop. I'm tired of their piss-poor service. Next time I'll go across the street to Potbellies.

I've ordered sandwiches at other Jimmy's locations, and special requests have never been ignored. Just this location is so disappointing. I'll try to stick to other locations...

I'm going to start off saying that the staff is always very friendly. However my compliments stop there. I used to order from this location all the time until a couple years ago when I received a sandwich delivered that contained a bug. So I informed the manager just to let know of the incident, and didn't eat there for a couple years. I decided tonight to give them another shot, after a couple years I figured maybe things had changed. Apparently I was wrong, I ordered a sandwich and had it delivered. The delivery was very quick which was nice, however when I opened the sandwich all of the lettuce was brown. This was their redemption from the bug incident and it was a complete failure. I worked in the food industry for years and where I worked we took pride in the quality of our food. I can understand finding a hair, it happens and it can happen at any time and may not even be the restaurants fault. However a bug is absolutely unacceptable, and brown lettuce isn't any better considering that someone makes the sandwiches and knows damn well they are putting it on there. Sorry jimmy johns but your redemption was unsuccessful, that will be the last $7.25 I waste on...

Worst Jimmy John's location I've ever gone to. This order was placed online for 8pm on November 9th 2024. Order # 30940748157403138. I had to wait 15 minutes in the drive thru because they didn't even start my pickup order when they had 30 minutes to make it since I placed the order online. I ordered a hot chicken bacon ranch sandwich combo and a chicken ceasar wrap for my husband. There wasn't any chicken or bacon on the hot sandwich as you can see in the photo. They toasted it with the lettuce and tomatoes on the bread. Common sense should tell you to toast the sandwich with only the chicken and bacon and not the veggies. The chicken ceasar wrap didn't have any chicken or croutons. I could've paid the same amount and gotten something way better anywhere else in town. By the time I got home the lettuce was soggy on the hot sandwich. I threw it out and only ate the chips and soda for dinner. Never going back to a Jimmy John's. All my money will go to...
