Scramblin' Egg — Restaurant in Bloomington

I have been driving by this cute food truck for last couple months going to/from work out. Finally, decided to place my order after my work out, literally 2miles away, 5min drive and it was ready within 30secs of me pulling into parking spot! Young lady runs to the car to bring you food or takes order if you didn't place online. Then she runs back to food truck! Not walks but runs!

We got a supreme bowl with sausage topped very nicely full of chili crisps and a veggie burrito w scramblin sauce on side. Order was perfect, no mistakes. Eggs cooked perfectly, not overcooked and not undercooked. Just fluffy and perfect. The tastes and textures dances on your tongue w the Szechuan-y chili crisps. The bowl itself is compostable, which meant I was tempted to take a bite out of the bowl bc of the wonderful leftover chili oil flavors, LOL! The burrito was delicious with same fluffy eggs and veggies. The tortilla was warm and held up well to the "brick" of a meal. Brick, in a good way noting heft and filling, not some small taco sized roll up. I am guessing the scramblin sauce is a mayo based chipotle type sauce. Asked for on side bc I wasn't sure what it was and allowed me to dip n taste w burrito. In end, I realized I was licking the cup to get every drop, LOL!

Not only was food great but the size for $ value is stupendous! $20+tax and left statisfyingly full. Will definitely be back bc you won't find a better breakfast for the pricepoint.

Oh, ample parking in chruch parking lot. You could aslo just pull up on old shakopee and they will run order out to your passenger window.

First time at scramblin egg and I'm only a little disappointed, but still give 5 stars because it was tasty. I ordered the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich with the scramblin sauce. The sausage and taste was not what I had expected, I was hoping for a breakfast sausage type patty and not chunks of some sort of chorizo sausage. It had a little spice to it but still tasted good, just not what I had expected. I guess I should've read the non-5 star reviews before ordering, because this "sausage issue" was brought up before. Next time I'll be ordering bacon, hope that those will not be bacon bits, jk. The bread was toasted perfect though and the egg and cheese were delicious. Overall a great sandwich, and filling. The best part though were the hash browns, they were awesome. They reminded me so much more of German potato pancakes than American hash browns. I got the scramblin sauce with it, but they don't need any sauce, they are so tasty without it. If anything I would recommend to serve them with applesauce, maybe they can add applesauce as a side item, that'll be awesome. Prices were fair for today's standards. $16 total for the sandwich, hash browns and a side of scramblin sauce. I probably won't be making an extra trip down here, but if I'm in the area before 2pm I'll drop in...
