$30 in delivery fees!? Holy cow! I double-dog dare you to try and defend that.
Order was over an hour late, and almost 15 minutes past the "latest delivery time". This was an issue with the store, Uber eats was very quick with their end of the delivery once the coffee was made. My guess is that delivery orders are a last priority, filled whenever they don't have any drive thru or in store customers. If you've seen the lines they get, consider this before ordering.
All the Starbucks in Blo/No are noticeably worse than locations in other areas. This is one of the two that has a drive-thru, and it regularly blocks up traffic back to Washington St. and especially throughout the businesses in their immediate area. Though trying to use the drive-thru is a reliably stressful situation, this review is only for the order I got delivered for my office on a Friday morning.
I placed the order just after 7:30am. I'd gone to place the order to pick it up myself on the way into town thinking 25 minutes would be enough advance for drip coffee, but the prep time was 55 minutes, so elected to try the delivery they're always touting, estimated for 8:15am.
1-A carafe ('coffee traveler') is $17. 2-Then there's tax. 3-There's an extra $5 fee -per carafe- if ordering for delivery. 4-There's a $5 'delivery fee' for delivery. 5-There's a $5 'service fee' for delivery. 6-There's a tip for delivery.
$54.73 for two carafes, before tip.
$30 to have 2 boxes with handles driven
Read moreMe and my older sister went into this Starbucks after going to Krispy Kreme next door. The line for the drive through was WAY to long so we went in instead. There was a couple ppl in the lobby (3-5). I ordered what I have ordered 100 times before at the EP Starbucks (dragon drink, no inclusions) and the barista taking our order was decently nice about it telling me they were currently out of that flavoring. So I asked for a pink drink (also with no inclusions) which Iv also had 100 times before at different locations. And my sister got what she always gets (camrel ribbon crunch frap) and we stood in the lobby for a solid 20+ minutes waiting for just 2 drinks (which is understandable considering the line of the drive through) and when we finally got them (before the other ppl that were in the lobby before us) my drink had inclusions in it after asking for no inclusions twice and it tasted wierd. And my sister's drink looked completely different then when we normally get it and it tasted like there was no coffee in it at all. Considering that I tried it, and I don't like coffee and even I couldn't taste any coffee in it.
Other than that, you could tell there were only about 2 out of the at least 5 workers in there actually making the drinks. The others were messing around in the back. You could not only hear but see them slacking.
All in all, go to EP or Peoria if you want a good...
Read moreI typically don’t get Starbucks, but today, I did. Pulled through the drive thru and Thomas took my order. And can’t describe how incredibly nice he was. Usually, It’s a get what you order and are rushed off, but he allowed me to take my time to order and was approachable than the other employees that I’ve had in the past. The total was 18 dollars even and I gave the change (which was only $2…) as a small tip. I got 2 small drinks and 1 large and they all came out very fast, especially compared to past encounters. As I waited, we had a small conversation about how we start our day off with a Pmkn Crm Cb! It’s most definitely an excellent way to start my afternoon! Nothing but smiles from him and even got a “have a good rest of your day,” which I’ve never gotten from anyone from this particular Starbucks location. Just wanted to thank Thomas for making my day. Very much appreciated.🤗 And I hope you have a great rest of your...
