Nanny Belle's — Restaurant in Blue Ash

As others have stated, they are not guaranteed to be open during posted business hours. Last time we tried to stop, the sign on the door stated they often close early when they are slow and it's always a good idea to call first. We did that tonight (twice) and no one answered either time (there was also no message indicating we had even called the right place). We took our chances and they were open... but again, as others have stated, they were out of staples including cookie sandwiches and even chocolate ice cream! How can a soft serce ice cream shop with a very limited flavor menu to begin with be out of CHOCOLATE (and therefore subsequently twist) ice cream? Due to a miscommunucation, I received salted carmel soft serve (I wanted a flurry) - it was nothing special, even with the extra toppings I requested. Gave it 2 stars only because of the great location - otherwise, there are way too many other tasty ice cream places in greater Cincinnati to waste time...

Excellent ice cream shop!

Growing up going to King's Island, I fell in love with their famous blueberry ice cream. Now, living in Dayton, there are a few places around us that sell it, but we spent the morning in Cincinnati, and on the way home, I was in the mood for ice cream.

Our typical spots to go to were closed, so we did a Google search, and this shop popped up. We decided to stop by, and they opened up about 5 mins after we got there. We were kindly greeted by the owner Brian. He asked if we could wait about 5 mins so the machine could get ready. We paid and waited. I used the restroom while we waited. It was clean.

Came into Blue Ash, Ohio and was looking for a local ice cream shop to try!!! Nanny Belle’s at Summit Park was suggested from the front desk clerk at our hotel!!! Wow! Ended up trying several things, all scrumptious! Started with a salad, lemonade, and something called Dilly Ranch Pretzels! The salad was so fresh and has homemade dressing, don’t get that even at my house! So very good. The lemonade was the best I ever had!!! My daughter got the pasta salad and a piece of pizza!!! The bite she let me have was delicious!!! We were full so took a walk around Summit Park. We came back and got Nanny Belles own Dole Whip!!!! It was light and refreshing.
