MainStay Suites Cincinnati Blue Ash — Hotel in Blue Ash

Where do I begin??. For starters I'd like to say that this place is great..clean..accomodating..and the staff is awesome. I've been here for 10 months and have witnessed the old manager Colton and how the hotel was verses the new manager Kathy. What a difference. Kathy got this place into shape. Not only is the Front desk staff kind friendly and accomodating such as Anaysha whose warm happy smile make you feel welcome and your always guarenteed to have a great conversation with Angela...they put the customer needs always first....but there's also a great housekeeping team run by Natalie whose extremely accomodating as well. She takes pride in her and her staffs work. They work very hard at keeping the rooms here clean and fresh. Miss Kathy is very kind and always has a big smile and a loud "Hello how are you". Type of personality. Shes not only asking you just because butbShe genuinly is interested. She's down to earth and fair. Their may be some people who would not agree with me but that's only because they don't like the fact that they didn't get their way and miss Kathy is doing her job. She's an excellent manager. I've seen her inspect rooms after they have been cleaned as well as walking around the entire hotel inside and out making sure things are in order and there's no garbage lying around. Not only are you and your family greeted with kindness and a key to a fresh clean room ..but your furry dogs are always welcome with a dog treat as well. I've been in many different hotels and by far this has been the best one so far. People on here that have complained about a leak..or the carpets. Or whatever minor thing it is don't take into consideración that it's a hotel and things brake..stop working..or fall apart...like any building...and that's where the mantence man Patrick comes to the resue. Always polite and willing to help. If your house had something that broke or something stopped working I'm sure you wouldnt rate your house as a crapy house....people it's a nice hotel for the price and things happen.. it's part of life. But here it gets fixed immeditaly without any problem. The staff here are human too. Just like you and me we have our good days and bad days..you don't know what people have to go home to or what they go through so it's ok if not every single day u are greated with a loud " good morning how are you". Sometimes your greeted with a softer " good morning...etc.. but regardless you are greeted with a warm welcome. And it's ok...I recommend this place for...

Native Cincinnatians, we are seniors, visiting from Arizona & found this Choice Hotel lodging to be unusual in that they charged us "up front," had no pool & operated a little differently. Breakfast was a cold, carb-filled, "Grab & Go," which offered nothing we could eat. ||||THAT being said, it was a great "find" for US! Our son recently moved into a house less than two miles from this Main Stay and we prefer not to invade their privacy and interrupt their routine. Though furnishings were somewhat tired & dated, it was clean, the staff was AWESOME (especially Natalie... SO friendly & sweet), the bedroom (with a very comfortable bed) could be closed off with a door & had its own TV. There was a kitchenette (two-burner stovetop, full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher & microwave). The bathroom was well-lit, roomy & the hot water ran quickly in spite of our being in a far end suite which, happily was near an entry/exit door with convenient parking right outside. ||||The guest laundry & fitness room were both open & available 24 hours. This facility is located in a well-maintained, business area near several other, popular, well-known motels. The rates were very reasonable (even with Memorial Day weekend involved) & we felt like we had our own little apartment close to EVERYTHING... especially our kids & grandson. There was an extra $15 a day in various taxes & fees going to every branch of local government.(The "occupancy fee" was perhaps my favorite.)||||We were required to trade out linen at the front desk but maid service could be requested with more than a week's stay.||Also, we received nothing but an email, survey opportunity (actually during our stay); no "review" opportunity. I had to search through their website to find a way to give a review. Their survey format was black print on a blue background which was almost unreadable, suggesting they may hope no one would put in the effort to complete it or they employ very unsavvy tech handlers.||||We would stay here again as it suited our purpose but as Choice members, this facility is definitely not up to what we consider to be...

I like the location it’s back away from everything but close enough to go to where’s needed and everything’s close by !!! The rooms are spacious and luxurious in style luxury apartment type *except there is no oven Only microwave and 2 small burners to cook with I absolutely loved the gazebo out front Very romantic and also has outside grilling options!!! Very nice And let me tell u about the service here - Exceptional !!!! Better than ANY HOTEL IVE EVER BEEN TO!!! I have not met the manager (no need to) but who ever she/he is -is doing a SUPREME SUPERB JOB!!!! This hotel is ran correctly like they all should b !!!! ( which is very rare to find) Front desk went out of there way and beyond to accommodate me and the maids were terrific !!! And every time I would see any employee- they were working- not slacking even for a min !!! I would also like to add that the front desk and maids and staff seemed to keep an eye out on the guests and followed hotel policy’s and rules I like that My fiancé was here on a business trip and I joined in later for a vacay trip and had a wonderful time would definitely recommend this hotel to all - there’s even guest laundry!!! What I enjoyed MOST ??? No screaming crying children but the hotel is animal and child friendly !!! That’s Awsome!!! The only thing I would change would b to add a little convenience store and restaurant or room service and a POOL I would like to give credit where credit is due- And definitely earned to The one little younger cute maid with the black hair and the Batista cat tattoo - she always was smiling and happy and pleasant and helpful I liked her and the tall lady with short hair at the front desk at 2:30 am That lady was on it!!! She knew what she was doing and it showed also friendly and smart!!! Enjoyed my stay...
