There food was decent but the customer service was disgustingly awful. After ordering my mom jokingly told me we spent so much, 15$. We got our food and sat down at the nearest booth. The employees kept talking about in spainish about how sad it was 15$ was a lot for us, laughing. My mom could understand them because her father was straight from Mexico so of course he taught them Spanish. My mom brushed it off wondering why they were listening to us in the first place... Anyway My mom started talking to me about going to Mexico each year and how my grandpa was from Mexico. They started talking again how my mom was a white girl and who cared that my her dad was from Mexico. We kept ignoring them trying to enjoy our meal. We started to talk about personal things happening at the house I guess my mom was rambling because the employee said "shut the hell up" in Spanish. I was surprised was she talking to my mom? No was near the employee, and she had a dirty look on her face. My mom kept talking not letting her get in my way. One of the employees were telling the other one how my mom was translating what they were saying, because I can't speak fluent Spanish. And how they were telling the cook how sad a poor we were. My mom didn't say anything not giving in , so my mom turned to me and said, "You always have to treat people the way you want to be treated. You need to have god in our heart and we were raised with respect, but not everyone was." I think that made them angrier because they kept going on how poor it was that 15$ was a lot, knowing my mom could understand. They said she was drunk and weak. I asked if we could go and i had lost my appetite from the employees. My mom said wait until we were done eating so I agreed of course. They kept going on about how uncomfortable I looked and how I was about to cry, I was uncomfortable but not about to cry. Finally my mom lost her appetite also and asked for a to go box. It just sad how rude people can be to customers. If I could I would give it negative stars but the...
Read moreI went and spent $68 on food at this place that I was recommended to. Upon arriving home, I notice they had forgotten a chicken taco meal. I tried calling back, a few times, for a half an hour, no answer. I did notice that they had a sign saying you must bring back all of the food, with a receipt, in order to receive a replacement. To me, that shows me that they have a contensous relationship with the customer. I just incurred the loss. Now on to the food. Everything is served in cheap Styrofoam containers, and it is just piled on itself, spilling out the sides, if you happen to not keep it perfectly level. They put my burrito sideways over my beans and enchilada, so that it just kinda turns into a slop pile. The taste of the whole thing was like everything tastes the same, bland and salty. The "salsa" is almost as thin as water, barely tastes of any flavor and they only give away little 1oz. cups, then charge $0.25 a piece for extra. It isn't worth the plastic it is put in. Needless to say, I barely ate any. The rest of my family didn't eat much, either. All in all, one of the worst places I have had my order messed up. I would steer clear from this place, if you are looking for quality to match the price. If you are looking for food that lacks any kind of care, this is the place to be content with the mediocre. Suffice to say, I'm not going back, and spreading the word to anyone that...
Read moreI ordered the street tacos. The grilled chicken, the asada and a spiced pork one to go. They also had a carnitas one, but i figured 3 was plenty. I also ordered a side of beans and a chips and guacamole. The service was pretty quick at 1pm on a Wednesday. There wasn't a lot of customers in the dining area, most of their business seemed to come from carry out and drive through. The street tacos were on special for Wednesday and they have different specials that run on each day of the week. The chips were more like an appetizer than a side and they carried the appetizer price tag with them. I was a little annoyed at first, until I tasted them. The chips were flavorful, fresh, more of a medium thin and crispy. But what made them different was that the guacamole was pretty thin and was placed on top of the chips like the gooey cheese on cheap nachos, and they had some shredded cheese sprinkled over all of it. Excellent flavor and I had eaten half of them before I remembered to get a picture. Note that because of the liquidity of the guacamole, if you dont eat them fast, the chips tend to get soggy. The tacos were excellent. They were flavored well, with plenty of stuffing, but not so much that it made a mess trying to eat them. They were double bagged with two tortillas per taco which aids in keeping all of the inner goodness in place and adds the right amount of chew to the tacos. I...
