My boyfriend and I were visiting Hilton Head and were a little disappointed by a few meals we had over there, so we decided to expand our search out to the Bluffton area for dinner one night, and oh my CRUDO was by far the best food we had on our trip! Well worth the drive back across the bridge. We opted to not have any cocktails that night, but I’m sure they are wonderful. We shared a half dozen Mama Mia oysters to start, which were excellent, and we decided on a whim to get two of the pork belly bao buns that were a special that night - these were ridiculously delicious and bursting with flavor, we were so impressed. For the entrees we each got the lobster roll, which was wonderful too. Buttery, decadent, and very filling. The grain side salad that came with the roll was a great pairing for adding brightness and freshness to the indulgent, buttery goodness of the lobster - we enjoyed it all so much that there was no need for any takeout boxes. Then to round off the night, we decided to go ahead and share a scoop of the cinnamon swirl gelato which was also great and not too sweet. This was such a wonderful dinner, I would absolutely recommend it for a date night or when you’re just looking to try something new - the value is definitely there for the amount you’re spending. If we lived in the area we would be frequent visitors, but if you ever decide to open another location you’d be warmly welcomed in Lexington, KY :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Culinary Experience – Worth Every Mile! My wife and I decided to take a scenic drive from Savannah to Bluffton in search of top-tier seafood, and Crudo blew us away! The one-hour drive was more than worth it — this spot easily surpassed any seafood experience we’ve had in downtown Savannah. In fact, Crudo puts all of Savannah to shame, to be totally honest. From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. The seafood was unbelievably fresh, and our meals came out quickly and piping hot. My wife ordered the duck entrée with bacon-wrapped asparagus, and we both agreed — it was the best duck we’ve ever tasted. I had the Wagyu New York Strip, and let me tell you: every bite was packed with flavor and juice. Steak lovers, this is your holy grail. We didn’t stop there — the desserts were out of this world, and the drinks? Easily some of the best craft cocktails we’ve ever had. But what truly elevated the night was our server, CJ. He was incredible — super attentive (my tea cup was never empty, which is rare for me), incredibly professional, and so knowledgeable that we actually thought he might be the manager. He made sure our date night was flawless from start to finish. CJ IS THE MAN! Crudo isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience. The food, service, ambiance, and drinks are all 10/10. If you’re thinking of visiting, don’t hesitate. We’re already planning our next trip back!

We stopped here for lunch on our drive down to Hilton Head. It is a higher end restaurant that I would typically eat up for dinner... but went on a vacation! Kudo was very good. The lobster roll was very goid. The lobster was poached in butter and cooked very well. If you aren't a fan of the Connecticut style roll this would not be for you. I love lobster any way you bring it to me, so I loved it. We also had the tuna nachos. There was a little seaweed salad surprise under each chip that complimented it well. We need lunch with their homemade butter pecan ice cream. I don't even like butter pecan ice cream, but I loved theirs. It was topped with candied pecans. The only thing I didn't like were the baos. The bun was dense and crumbly. It should be super light, pillowy and airy. The bao filling was good. The pork belly was cooked well. I would have liked a thicker piece of pork belly so it was closer to what I would typically get at a Japanese restaurant. The one thing I would add was I didn't expect this restaurant to be open for lunch. It was empty when we ate. Typically restaurants like this are open for dinner only. It's quite the investment for lunch, but very good if you don't mind the cost. Lastly, the cocktails were very good and original. I love a good craft cocktail and they delivered. I believe I tried two on the menu. I would definitely go back.

Crudo in Bluffton blends modern flair with a cozy and sleek bar atmosphere—and my latest visit brought together two standout items that were as different as they were delicious: the Berries and Cream signature drink and a spicy tuna sushi roll.

The Berries and Cream drink arrived looking gorgeous, with a soft swirl of pink and orange color topped by a thin lemon slice. Visually refreshing and vibrant, it tasted even better than it looked. The first sip brought a burst of sweet strawberry, followed by a mellow, creamy aftertaste that lingered pleasantly. It felt more like a dessert in a glass—indulgent, smooth, and surprisingly well-balanced.

The spicy tuna roll brought a bold contrast. It was neatly rolled, topped with deep black tobiko for a pop of texture, and garnished with a delicate swirl of spicy mayo. The tuna was fresh and buttery, with a satisfying heat that built gently. The rice was well-seasoned and held together perfectly, offering the ideal bite every time.

Surprisingly, the two worked beautifully together. The creamy sweetness of the drink helped cool down the spice from the sushi, while the roll’s heat and briny tobiko added a savory contrast to the drink’s fruity finish. It was an unexpected harmony of sweet and spicy—one that I’d absolutely come back for.

If you're looking for a creative and satisfying experience in Bluffton, Crudo delivers a pairing that hits all the...
