I hate to complain, especially to leave a negative review. I'm all about allowing a business an opportunity to correct an issue or get it right in the future. If I didn't have kids who constantly beg to get Blizzards, I'd never go to this location again. I love DQ in general but definitely not this location. It is mostly run by teenagers, which is typically okay with supervision, but there hasn't appeared to be anyone over 17 on duty on my last few visits (busy Friday nights too). On numerous occasions that have not been busy shifts, I've arrived to find 1 customer in the entire place but all tables completely filthy, floors disgusting and behind the counter even more gross. The past couple times I've taken my family here the restaurant has smelled of sour milk and is unpleasant. The young cashier asked me to pay cash instead of using the perfectly capable credit/debit machine which was extremely alarming to me. When I asked why the response had nothing to do with merchant service fees (which is an understandable reason) but rather that he'd prefer I pay in cash. Very odd. I reported the cleanliness and the check-out experience to corporate, who offered little response other than "sorry, this restaurant is franchise owned and we ask you to try it again and hope for a better...
Read moreThis place is always a mess when I go.
The employees are never in matching uniforms and always look sloppy. They wear jeans and tshirts and the females always have their hair down. The employees know nothing about any product or how to make it. A customer handed the employee a pre made sundae he wanted to purchase from the cooler and she asked him "what is this? I don't know what it is." She had to ask another employee who didn't even know, and asked another how to ring it up in the cash register. I asked her what was in a type of blizzard and she couldn't even tell me. The employees are loud and unprofessional. They yell across the restaurant to speak to one another and are blatantly rude to one another in front of customers. I heard one female who I presume is a manager ask a young employee if her and one other employee would be "good to close on their own tonight" - presuming she was going to leave early.
I really think you need to have your employees step it up. Their lack of knowledge about the company and its products really shows. Their service time is way over what it should be for a fast food restaurant and honestly the employees make me uncomfortable for not having customer service in mind and just wanting to hurry up and get off...
Read moreI drove up to the drive thru at about 5:58 - 6:00. By the time I read the sign that they were closing at 6 I figured I was ok because I was already in line. There were three cars at the window getting their orders. When the last car got her food I tried to roll over the bell chime so they would remember someone was there. There were also two cars behind me. I finally drove to the window and knocked on the window. Eventually a woman came to the window. I said to her that I was trying to order and that I was in line prior to 6. She had the audacity to tell me there were two signs on their menu board that said they closed at 6. I explained I saw those but that I was there before 6. She said to me, “no, you weren’t!” We will NEVER be back! We have been going to this site for years and watched it go downhill, but my mom wanted a medium vanilla cone and she’s 85. What would it have hurt for the woman to have sold us a simple ice cream. Instead she gave us attitude and was very rude. As a business owner myself, I was appalled that an employee would treat a customer this horribly. So unfortunate! What happened to...
