Please read the entire review. This review is mostly of the server. We stopped by last Saturday around 6:00 pm. We were the only table in the place at the time. We were a party of 8 in the room to right against the wall. The hostess was very sweet, we called because, all the other Italian places at the time were full and didnt have a table for us. We were excited that Giangelo's can accomidate us. Once we sat down we waited a good 10 minutes until anyone came over. The lady that was our server was an older lady with blond or greyish hair, at one point we were concerned and asked how long she worked there and she said 14 years! We thought how did you make it this long. She brought our drinks out with no straws or sugar for the iced tea. So we asked her for a straw because thats part of the drink. Her remark was "OHH GOD!!" She then walked away. We were all in shock. She then didnt return because she was given another table and completely forgot about us. Another 15 minutes went buy and she returned trying to get our food order so we gave it to her quickly because we knew what we wanted. We then again asked her if we could get the rest of our drinks and the straws. By then we needed refills and were upset. Now the straws came with the salads. Not 1 salad went to the right person, we had to move them around after we tasted the dressing that was not labeled in a 2oz container. At this point we were just happy to have something. The food came out cold, we would have said something, but we didnt want to wait anymore. My sister never got ger food so I gave her half of mine. Im not sure what was going on but we talked about if a few days after and couldnt belive...
Read moreThe food was good but It was very upsetting today. Our club girls went today...8adult women to have lunch then play cards until 4 pm.... there were 5other women there playing cards at another table... because of the snow were the only people there. We all asked our waitress to please lower the music because it was very loud and the waitress said she would check. After each request the hostess put the music louder. She was a very rude person who was dressed sloppy for someone who greeted people. Finally our one lady went up to her about the music and told her we would not be back. They knew ahead of time that we were going to play cards until 4 and they said that was fine and then to be told that the music was as low as it would go. THERE WERE NO OTHER PEOPLE!! Finally the music was lowered. At 3:30 the hostess came through our area (and we're still the only ones there) gave us a dirty look... she never even touched a thing to indicate that she was seating someone with the nasty look walked out without a word. We were done and cleaning up our things! I told the two waitresses at the door to tell the hostess SHE WAS VERY RUDE.... we won't go back, there's too many places to go to have to put up with...
Read moreThis place used to be good, but now it seems like they are cutting corners at their new location. Service doesn't seem nearly as good, and I've never had a bottle of wine arrive with a twist off cap lol (and what looks like over 100% markup). One of our guests ordered different glass of wine and it looked very short (they claimed they used a wine pour to measure but looked very short and we didn't buy it). Someone else ordered a beer and they said they only have one size, that's ok but I ordered a So. Tier Pumking and it came in a snifter glass (like it should) but it was only a 1/3 full....when I questioned that, they said that is how that beer comes. We were getting somewhat upset with the service and how things were going but luckily for us, the kitchen caught on fire and they had to evacuate the building and we didn't have to pay a dime. We ended up going to Springfield Grille and having a wonderful time. oh and BTW, I got the ST Pumpking at Springfield Grille and it was a FULL glass, just like Blue Wolf and Stonebridge and any other place I've ordered that beer. It would also be nice if you put prices and sizes on the beer lists if you are going to...
