The standards here must be really low. I came here for my birthday and I was expecting much more after reading many good reviews..

The reason I decided to come here is because I saw on Tuesday at 7pm they have $6 Margaritas ..&I like margaritas......when I get there around 7:40....the menu at the restaurant says they start at 8pm... ...so finally after a little wait...our waitress informed me after ordering one(&waiting like 10minutes) that they actually changed it to 9 pm now!...even though the menu still said 8pm....and online it says 7pm....& they would not even honor it..?? She asked if we wanted to wait til 9 but like, no... why would I want to wait another hour? super disappointing. Should have got up and left at that point.

Mac and cheese was good but absolutely overpriced.

I ordered the tenderloin tips..the french fries were good but cold. The tenderloin tips literally tasted like they were marinaded in ketchup, I actually almost cried because how bad it tasted and because I felt they completely ruined my bday dinner :( not once in my life have I asked for a dish to be sent back after tasting it, there's a first for everything.

My husband going the philly cheesesteak and it was gross. Broccoli was cooked well though.

The bartender is great though because I still did get margaritas at full price and they were delicious!! I realized that this place is a bar &...

On February 27, 2021, I went to The Standard for lunch with a friend. My bill was $24.21 and I left a $5.39 tip for the server (totaling $30). However, my card was charge once for $24.61 and then a second time for $30, equaling a total charge of $54.61. I called the restaurant that evening and was instructed by an assistant manager that sometimes their card reader initially double chargers because they add tips in immediately, but one of the charges should fall off my statement with 2-3 business days. He also told me that if the charge wasn't correct to give a call back, so the money could be promptly reimbursed. Since then, I have spoken with Ryan and the restaurant manager, Sean, about my money not being refunded numerous times. They keep telling me that they have requested a refund from the company that handles their credit card transactions. However, it has been over a month since I went to the restaurant and still haven't received a reimbursement. The food was good but not worth paying for it twice. If you go to this restaurant pay in cash, so you won't be ripped off like me.

I’ve come here a few times for happy hour, which is from 4-7pm everyday! The house red wine, which what I typically get is $6 per glass. Also, I really enjoy a few of their bar bites, such as the “Mini Short Rib Mac N Cheese” and the “Standard Sliders”. The sliders actually have a very unique bacon jam that’s sounds weird to me but actually makes the slider taste soooo good. This place has nice tables and high tops outside as well as a cool inside bar vibe going on. During my last visit, my wife had the “Chicken Sliders” and mentioned that they were delicious. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. One of the coolest things I like about this place is that the toilets have automatic plastic seat covers like Japan has! I always appreciate a clean bathroom, especially in a bar / restaurant setting. If you like happy hours and the ability to take a nice stroll around afterwards to see l other shops and restaurants around, then do come and check...
