I really want to be as thoughtful and thorough with this review as possible. We had been looking forward to trying out Prezzo for some time. We have walked this plaza on many weekend nights admiring the Spanish guitarist playing outside. We hired a baby sitter and made it a point to come out specifically to dine at Prezzo. Upon arriving on time for our reservation 7:15pm on 11/26 (Saturday) we walked up to a very loud and actually pretty terrible (high school) sounding band playing very loud and out of tune music outside. The Spanish guitarist must have been off for the holiday weekend. Apparently throughout the night guests kept asking the band to turn the music down.. I knew this because the band kept saying “sorry guys we are playing as low as we can go”.. the drummer was pouncing on the drums.. not the best choice over dinner. My wife and I made the smart choice to dine inside. Which is not what we were hoping for but we were there.. We noticed many empty tables outside actually.. We were sat in a very unromantic table right behind the hostess stand which was up against the server cleaning station where they kept table rags, spray etc.. David P. Who was our server was friendly, took our drink order, I ordered a Diet Coke, it’s all I drink... He quickly brought the drink. I took a sip. When David returned, I said I have to return this drink because I ordered a Diet Coke and you gave me Pepsi. His response was “oh I normally can get away with it”.. Why pull this with the client? Be upfront, communicate that you serve Pepsi products. Don’t play a game and disregard the clients order.. so after I sent it back, I ordered a ginger ale instead, which was mostly sparkling water with little to no syrup but I was beyond caring about the drink at this point.. In the back of my head I felt David was perhaps messing with me at that point.. We ordered a few bites for the table. Caprese stack which my wife enjoyed. The pear and walnut pasta app was drowning in sauce and maybe 1.5 slices of pear inside it. We Didn’t care for it. My strawberry salad would have been better if they didn’t drench the salad in so much dressing. It was hard to eat with majority of the dressing sitting at the bottom of the bowl. We ordered a margarita pizza for 18 bucks and I have to say that this was without a doubt, one of the worst and most dry pizzas I have had in a long time. I have to say that I almost felt ripped off. David fired the food right away and I kid you not, within 7 minutes of ordering, everything was at our table. Almost felt like all the food was pre made it came out so fast. We were out of the restaurant in 25 minutes. It wasn’t a night out. You guys literally robbed me of a romantic night out that I seldom get with my wife. I feel slighted with our experience. I didn’t want to send anything back because I didn’t want to ruin an already off night. Just wanted to finish in peace and get out of there. We arrived back home within 45 minutes of leaving our house. We still paid our sitter for 3 hrs.. I also tipped David P. 20% even tho I feel he didn’t deserve it. I guess I am too...

Bread (fresh made in house, just like the high quality pasta) service with roasted garlic maybe the best I've ever had. The whipped ricotta, of course going to be amazing, but is served with pizza dough literally made when you order. And it comes with prosciutto. Impeccable. And I haven't even gotten past appetizers. Easily the best Chicken Marsala I've ever had, somehow even more improved on their last nearly flawless version of the dish. And the spinach. Always a side I yawn at. I savored every bite. Rich, yet light and perfect with the chicken and amazing mushroom centric sauce. And do NOT sleep on the dessert tray. They do us all a favor and don't show us the same 4 desserts we've all seen a million times. Although some are classic originals, they are all taken to the highest level with triple A quality ingredients and a unique spin or change that makes for a treat you'll never forget. But the Warm Butter Cake is the single greatest dessert I've ever had. Literally perfect for me, because I wanted something sweet, but not quite as sweet as the triple layer chocolate cake. I'm saving that for next time. Don't get nervous about that 19$, it is literally a fresh baked butter cake! With multiple textures, from butter soft, to lightly crunchy with hints of cinnamon and a huge scoop of gelato. Let's be honest, in Boca, this is easily a $25-$35 dessert without a second thought. It can serve a table of four. And for two, even though the Gelato won't last 2 minutes, the rest of the cake travels terrifically and only needs 10 seconds in the microwave. Last but not least, the service. Jeremiah was welcoming, descriptive, attentive, and gracious. And the rest of the staff noticeably seemed to take pride in and enjoy giving you the best service possible. And let's face it, if you've ever served in Boca, you know that can be very difficult to maintain. The place is staffed amazingly. All you have to do is look up for a minute or two and you can almost see a rhythm start to emerge. I sincerely struggle to summon a single criticism. Aside from not quite being able to alliterate that entire sentence. Just another flawless visit. I'll be back for pizza and...
Read moreWe reserved three tables for 24 people to celebrate my 87 birthday. We went to the restaurant a few days before the party and then went to see Jason the manager who was very accommodati then we were sat down for dinner. We shared a Caesar salad which was . Large enough for 3 people. I had a delicious Chicken scarporella One had a full sized pizza aa the other had a delicious lasagna The bill wtwith a generous tip and no alcohol was105
We had so much fun at my birthday party that we decided to make a surprise birthday party for my fiancé Unfortunately the manager Jason was off Saturday night and we missed his small touches which was the best part of my birthday party However we had a great time I asked for three out side tables and each one could order from the menu instead of a price fixed menu The food as usual was very good and filling I said that people could eat and drink anything from the menu We brought a great birthday cake from grandmas bakery In Military in Delray Beach There were 19 people at the party but they charge me for 22 people @ $2 dollars person they corrected it after I pointed it out I strongly recommend this place for a birthday party the only thing I would recommend is suggestion is that you make it on a Thursday rather then a Saturday when you’re get a discount for the alcohol bill. the food is great and the restaurant has an open and has both inside as well as outside tables. The bill with a 20% mandatory tip came out to $1146/18= less than $65/person Which included the alcohol and anything that was on the menu the night was the best thing for a surprise birthday party. We didn’t get the price fixed dinner because of the variance diet and like some of them are carnivores and some are vegetarian so we elected to allow them to eat whatever they wanted We went again for Mother's Day dinner. We were six people who decided to avoid the usually crowded mothers Day brunch It was a good idea because we're almost the only ones eating dinner The service...
