The made up for it by having their famous baked potatoes (not on the menu you have to be in the know) which was perfect as always. The sides were equally impressive – the French fries are always great, the tabbouleh did not disappoint either!

We were visiting this area for a basketball tournament. Our team was staying directly across the street at the Wyndham. Our family of 3 attempted to eat at this place on Friday, June 18, 2021. Upon arriving, there were 2 other families waiting for a table and then 1 other family already sitting at the bar being served. Obviously, upon seeing other families and teammates that we knew at the bar, myself and another parent from one of the families that were waiting for a table, walked to the bar to order and drink while waiting and to say hello. After about 5 minutes, the bartender came over and told us "I will not serve your party". At this time, I was standing up because I obviously was only ordering a drink to wait for our table.I asked him what the issue was and he said that they do not serve parties of more than 4. We were confused as we were not TOGETHER, however, we did know other patrons of the establishment...it's in a tourist area with hotels everywhere so surely other parties, whether local or visiting, have run into people they know. Discussion started with the bartender and then the manager came over, and told us that "parties like yours tend to be too loud if there are more than 4 of you and we are trying to provide a certain ambiance". When I asked her who "yours" and "you" are, she then said "oh, I didn't mean that". The fact that I didn't even have to say it and she knew what I meant means that she said EXACTLY what she meant. I could not sit there and listen anymore because I know my temperament when it comes to these types of situations. We then advised that we weren't together but simply knew each other and she told us that "I can tell you all are all together" Are we the only ones that have ever walked into an establishment and saw someone we knew? I took my black son and my black daughter and we left. Subsequently, the other families also left. There was more conversation to it, but this is the gist of the evening wasted...
