Priscila Iwama? On top of being one of the most compassionate humans I know, this woman is the freaking GODDESS of dermopigmentation! I’ve been doing my lips and eyebrows with Priscila since 2018. The results are so so so incredibly natural that everyone compliments my eyebrows and lips thinking they were simply God-given, not being able to tell they were God-given but have had their appearance tweaked by the talented hands of Ms. Iwama and her inks, needles, and blades. I have left a review for Priscila before, but I feel the need to come and let everyone know that 6 years later, I’m still a client and after a few touch-ups my eyebrows and lips look as if nothing have been done to them and that they are just naturally perfect. If you’re reading my review because you have questions whether or not you should be treated by Priscila or her team — which is composed by highly competent artists who were trained by Priscila herself — just do it! You will not regret it. I’ve seen influencers online parading post-microblading eyebrows that look like they’ve been colored in with a sharpie saying that this is how microblading looks in the first few days. Well, you shall NEVER EVER experience that at the Iwama Clinics. The technique they use is so subtle and gentle that you go home looking perfect from day zero! I’ve just got my lips touched-up and, this time, they didn’t even peel! — it is true though that I followed Priscila’s proposed after care step-by-step with emphasis on hydrating my lips — but it is the technique and after care working together. On top of her impeccable work, Priscila and her amazing staff ensure that your experience is unique from the moment you get in touch with them to the moment you exit the clinic. The office is gorgeous, the ambiance is welcoming, everything is pleasant from start to finish. And if all that wasn’t enough, Priscila specializes in medical dermopigmentation — my mom has been treated by her — and she does volunteer work for cancer survivors. In a nutshell, if you were unsure where to bet, the Iwama Clinics is THE PLACE!

——————- Priscila is simply the most complete professional you will ever meet. Her background is impressive and her work is impeccable. I had my eyebrows microbladed by her and they look simultaneously natural and ready to go all the time. I don't have to get them done as often as I used to. The procedure neither bled nor was it painful (she applied topic numbing cream). 4 months after having her microblade my eyebrows, I did lip enhancement (lip shading) with Priscila. I don't wear makeup often so all I wanted was a healthy looking tint to my lips and more definition, and that was exactly what I got. I commend Priscila for her talented and skillful work and I recommend her for anyone looking into having microblading or lip enhancement done. Priscila is kind, capable, honest, and to the point. You will not find a better artist/beautician. Her initial price is fair and she has great deals for returning customers. I recently underwent eyebrow microblading at Priscila Iwama, and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. As a male client, I believed that choosing an artist with her name on the door and photos of so many male clients would ensure an understanding of working on men's skin, which is known to be 25% thicker than that of women – a crucial factor in cosmetic procedures like microblading. However, my experience with Priscila Iwama left much to be desired on various fronts. First and foremost, the microblading procedure itself failed to meet my expectations. The results, touted as semi-permanent, lasted only a few days before fading away. This left me questioning the skill and expertise of the artist, especially given the premium price I paid for what was supposed to be a top-tier service. Speaking of pricing, Priscila Iwama ranks among the most expensive microblading studios I have come across. I justified the high cost with the belief that I would be receiving unparalleled quality from a skilled artist. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and the disparity between the cost and the results left me feeling regretful and frustrated. Communication with Priscila Iwama was another significant issue. She seemed to struggle with English as a second language, leading to misunderstandings and difficulty in conveying my preferences. Clear communication is crucial in a cosmetic procedure where personal preferences play a vital role, and the language barrier at Priscila Iwama hindered this essential aspect of the process. What adds insult to injury is the fact that I traveled a considerable distance, enduring 3+ hours each way, multiple times, only to be profoundly disappointed with the outcome. This inconvenience was exacerbated by the lack of flexibility and understanding from Priscila Iwama when I expressed my dissatisfaction. I requested a refund or, at the very least, to waive the charge for the touch-up session, considering the original procedure did not yield the expected results. Unfortunately, my plea was met with refusal, leaving me feeling unheard and disheartened. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Priscila Iwama to others seeking eyebrow microblading services. The subpar results, exorbitant pricing, communication issues, and lack of customer-centric practices have left me deeply disappointed. My hope in writing this review is to caution others and encourage them to explore alternatives that prioritize both quality and customer satisfaction....

Absolutely amazing experience! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for permanent makeup. I looked into microblading my eyebrows for about 2 years. Despite having several friends and family members that had their eyebrows done (from other places), I just never saw anyone artists work and felt like they could really give me the results I wanted. Price wasn’t really a huge factor for me because I believe you get what you pay for. I heard about Iwama Clinics and from my very first photo I reviewed online, I knew this was my place! I was blown away with all of the model photos online … but to be honest, they don’t even do the artists work justice! I decided to go in for a consultation, with no plans on making a decision that day … but from the moment I walked in the door and met my artist, Xiomara, I was sold. I just felt like she “got” me; which says a lot because I did not come in with any examples of what I wanted … again, I had never found a prior example of work that I loved (for me). But somehow she just knew what I was looking for. She could tell I was really nervous … I mean it’s permanent makeup and I’m a blonde, so that makes it even more complicated. Xiomara really took her time with me. Honestly, her chatting with me to understand what I was truly looking for took longer than the actual procedure. Xiomara was amazing & she let me make decisions during the entire process. I really gave her ultimate decision making because I didn’t completely know what I wanted - I just wanted them to look better than they did and she did not disappoint! I was absolutely blown away with the results!!!! I went for two sessions & honestly, this is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!!! I wish I would have done this sooner … but sooooo happy I did not go to any other location to get my eyebrows done. I am very fair skin and my eyebrows look so natural! I have gotten so many compliments, especially from people who already had theirs done … and they’ve even reached out to my artist to see if she can “fix” theirs. She was worth every penny and I would hands down do it all over again with Iwama Clinics!!! Trust me - choose this clinic and you will not be disappointed. Even my healing process was amazing because they use very high end technology....
