I grew up going to this place all the time. So when I come home during a break, I come to get lunch here. The food is always great and it’s fresh. Very consistent and healthy. Me, my mom, and sister came in around at around 2 PM on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. We walked in and we were told by a man in his 40s/50s that the menu was limited to due staff emergencies so order stuff from the cold menu. We were totally okay with that and didn’t complain and proceeded to order and sat down at a table to eat and wait for our food. We ordered 2 wraps and 2 iced teas. Supposedly we got the iced teas for free, but didn’t realize we weren’t charged for them on the bill until after the man working there told us very rudely. We definitely would have paid for them. The iced tea tasted like old milk or dish water, but we didn’t complain. Our food was given to us at the table in a bag wrapped to-go, but we were already sitting down at a table so we decided to eat there. We were opening up our food to eat it because we were hungry and there was no one else in the restaurant besides us. We were sitting there getting ready to eat our food that he packaged to go, thinking we aren’t being serviced on, we didn’t get waters, the iced tea was gross, and there was no one there. The guy managing the place came to our table to collect our receipt and hand us our food that was wrapped to go and said “you guys can totally sit down there it’s not like we have people cleaning up for you.” And then he said it again because we thought he was joking. He was referring to the fact that we did not tip him and he wanted us to leave. We suddenly realized he was being very passive aggressive and immediately got up and left. We felt so uncomfortable and it was so out of pocket. From that experience, I don’t know if me and my family will ever feel comfortable eating there again. It’s super sad. There’s no excuse for a manager or cashier guy to make comments to us about not tipping him when we weren’t even waited on. Meanwhile, the food took forever (and we were understanding because he said he was understaffed). We were just minding our own business and he took his anger out on his only customers in the restaurant. It shows poor leadership, organization, and bad service. It wasn’t our problem that he was inconvenienced by his own staff, and he should’ve taken responsibility for his actions and maybe close the restaurant for the rest of the day rather than being rude and losing a life long customer. I definitely got the ick and...
Read moreVery disappointed...I ordered a chicken crepe with spinach. The waitress said you could mix like that without an extra. A mushroom crepe came out. I mentioned the wrong order came out and she did not offer to correct it.. she kept on mopping the floor...so I continued to finish the 1st crepe but did not like it at all so I requested if she could have some spinach put in it. My lunch partner who is a vegan was told that they could replace regular cheese with vegan cheese at no additional charge. The waitress brought the check with my crepe costing over $17 dollars for adding the spinach in and charging for the substitute cheese as well. She did not care to look at the check and never came by to fill our water cups...just kept on mopping. There were 5 staff members working (plus probably chef in back) and maybe 2 customers counting us. So being too busy was not the reason. We did not request an adjustment and just paid to avoid the hassle. My lunch partner left 18% gratuity. The crepe itself was pretty tasty, the inside of the crepe lacked. Very little cheese & spinach...chicken was so so no sauce...not good and would definitely not recommend. I think this place is for...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout from a restaurant that offers a delightful combination of sushi and ramen. The experience was truly a pleasant surprise from start to finish.
Firstly, the food itself was exceptional. The sushi rolls were incredibly fresh and flavorful, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Each roll was expertly prepared and showcased a perfect balance of ingredients. The ramen, on the other hand, was a comforting and satisfying bowl of goodness. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. It was evident that great care and attention to detail went into every dish.
What truly impressed me, however, was the way the takeout order was made and decorated.
Overall, my experience with this restaurant was fantastic, and I am already looking forward to ordering from them again. The combination of delicious sushi and satisfying ramen, along with the attention to detail in the presentation and packaging, made for a truly delightful dining experience. I highly recommend trying out their takeout service and exploring their menu...
