I just want to let everyone know who wants to buy from this store to be very careful. Their talk regarding customer service is nothing but a bunch of lies. I personally have purchased in excess of 10 pieces of jewelry for my wife spending over $30,000 in their establishment. We have had a wonderful relationship with 4 different salespeople and unfortunately all 4 are gone. Today we had a discussion with Jessica regarding a situation. When we called back she was no longer available. We were directed to Alex. As the conversation progressed he continued to talk and interrupt me not letting me explain my concerns. Eventually he hung up the phone on me. So much for the touted “ customer service Enter the establishment at your own risk, but don’t expect anything after the sale if you need help. Just to add to this, they ask to give a star rating on top. Reluctantly I gave 1 star. There should be none. And really, HANG UP ON THE CUSTOMER?
I want to update my post regarding this business. After a long and what is thought was a resolution to the problem, I was asked to delete the post. The agreement was that the manager Alex was going to call me to apologize for his inappropriate behavior when he abruptly hung up the phone on me. There was no call. It appears that the ownership of this company was only interested in getting me to remove my original post. This only reinforces my opinion that future customers who plan on going there to STAY AWAY. They will say anything to get your business.
I would like to update my original post. After waiting for Alex to call me to apologize he never did. Does that say that the owners never mentioned that to him or that he refused? After waiting a reasonable time for a resolution to the problem we took the piece of jewelry elsewhere for repair. The price that Diamonds Direct wanted was double what we paid. The statements of “ friendship, family, etc. are just meaningless words. All that they are interested in is your money. After buying 10 pieces of jewelry from them and to be treated this way I can only advise others...
Read moreI’ve never been more disappointed in a store's customer service in my life. The experience at Diamonds Direct was an absolute joke. We walked in, excited to browse, and the receptionist immediately hit us with, “Are you getting married?” Really? Why would you assume that? Maybe we were just there to look at overpriced rocks for fun. Nice to see they’ve mastered the art of making assumptions before even showing us a single thing.
Then we get introduced to some guy named Khervens (I'm assuming that's supposed to be a name, though I’m not entirely sure). He awkwardly asks if we want a drink, then launches straight into interrogating us about how far along we are in the process of buying something and when we need it by. How about showing us the actual rings first before you start sizing us up like you're trying to negotiate a deal? Unreal.
But it gets better. Khervens, apparently so busy with his nonexistent schedule, tells us he has to leave because of an “appointment” (whatever that means in a jewelry store), and we’d be passed off to someone else. Spoiler alert: No one else ever helped us. We stood there for a good 10 minutes, completely ignored, while the only other salespeople on the floor were too busy either yelling at another customer or playing musical chairs with their "appointments." In fact the older latin male who was pointed to that he would help us just stood there and did not even say anything, nothing, he just stood in one place watching everyone. (great salesperson!)
To top it all off, there was a loud argument between a sales agent (younger blond female) and a customer about an exchange credit happening right next to us. Seriously, a screaming match in a store selling high-end jewelry? This was like watching a reality show, except it was a nightmare.
I’ve never been so appalled by a sales staff in my life. If you’re looking for good customer service, steer clear of this store. If you're into being ignored and watching cringe-worthy drama unfold around you, then by all means, have at it. Worst....
Read moreBuyer beware! Save money and go somewhere else. Buying an engagement ring from this store was simply the worst experience. I pride myself on being a savvy business man, and I was taken for quite a ride. My sales person made it seem she had my best interest at heart, but her motive was just to make a lot of money. I originally gave her my budget and selected a ring. When I gave it to my fiancé' she noticed that the two side diamonds on the 3 diamond ring were not the same size. When we went back to have it fixed our sales person at Diamonds Direct of Boca urged my fiancé to buy a bigger ring twice the price. I felt stuck and pressured and did so accordingly. We had to bring this new ring back several times as the original issue which we went back for the first time was never resolved. Finally when we were given the ring back it had a different setting and was told that it was better than the original one I chose. The long and short of it was when I decided to buy my fiancé a diamond wedding band from a reputable jeweler. The new engagement ring we bought from Diamonds Direct looked yellow and poor quality. Also the side diamonds were burnt as Diamonds Direct of Boca tried to mold the setting to the side diamonds in a fruitless attempt to resolve the problem.. In the end I had to buy a new ring from this reputable jeweler, and had to sell the ring I bought from Diamonds Direct of Boca at a huge loss. The ring appraised for 30% less of the value. I actually got lucky because when this jeweler tried to sell the diamond to the trade no one was interested in it. My suggestion is that if you are buying your forever ring from Diamonds Direct of Boca it should be your last choice!! Your better off getting a ring out of...
