La Granja Boca Raton East — Restaurant in Boca Raton

My recent visit to La Granja was marred by a deeply troubling incident involving the manager, a Spanish lady in her forties. Despite the promising exterior and reputation, the experience was overshadowed by her appalling behavior towards a homeless man who simply asked for a cup of water.

The manager's response was not only unprofessional but downright cruel. Instead of showing basic human decency and providing assistance, she callously told the man he stank and demanded he leave the store. Witnessing such blatant disregard for another person's dignity was deeply disheartening and left a lasting impression.

Unfortunately, this incident was not the only disappointment during my visit. The food quality was lackluster, the service was slow and inattentive, and the ambiance of the restaurant was uninspiring.

Overall, my experience at La Granja was deeply disappointing. From the mistreatment of a vulnerable individual to the mediocre food and lackluster service, there was little to redeem this dining establishment. I cannot in good conscience recommend...

The #7 is amazing! not sure how they can make chicken, rice and beans so good. no longer need to go to pollo tropical anymore as this blows them out of the water. would be a 5 star rating except the staff are the most unenthusiastic and uninterested people I may have consistently come across. they are NOT rude or anything of that nature, they just act like they just woke up and you are the one preventing them from getting back to bed. the food is so amazing that it doesn't even bother me at this point. everything is always on point. just don't expect much from those taking your order at the register. those in the kitchen put it work though. blows my mind how they make something so...

Tried calling to place an order 3 times. They answered the first 2 and put me on hold for over 8 minutes. I can hear them taking orders which is understandable, however, I can hear two employees talking about non related work events while i was still on hold. I then tried calling again and the phone just rang and no one picked up. Communication is key and if you are too busy, just let me know don't put me on hold. Thank you.
