A group of us went here for dinner Sunday evening for The First Time. Personally, I would really rather have given 3 Stars but felt guilty about it. I shared a Cold Antipasto Salad with one another person and, 'That was very good, ' although I would have liked more than 4 tiny pieces of bread. I also shared a Small Pizza with another person but the Pizza arrived cold. The 4 other people I was with each had a small Regular Salad, 3 of them shared a Large Pizza which also arrived cold and the waiter lost the last person's food; spaghetti and meatballs which eventually arrived. I was very Disappointed with Our Waiter. I understand that Restaurants are short handed but, Our Waiter seemed like he was in another world. When our Salads arrived, we had to ask for silverware and plates and napkins. When our Pizzas arrived, he didn't give us clean plates so we had to ask him to please remove our salad plates and give us clean plates and napkins. And, at that time, it wasn't that busy. He finally removed the dirty plates and gave us clean plates for the Pizza. We tried to grab him to let him know that the Pizza was Cold and we needed more water but, that never happened. The next time we saw him was about 20 minutes later and all we wanted was the check. As I said, the Antipasto Salad was very good but, we don't enjoy Cold Pizza. We did enjoy sitting outside. If I go back, it will be for the Salads not for the Pizza. Hopefully next time the Service will be...
Read moreThis was my first time here, but definitely won't be my last. My friend and I were looking for a meeting place halfway between our houses and happened to be in the mood for pizza. We Googled pizza places and this looked good. So happy we found it! Our server, Tal, was very friendly and helpful in explaining this style of pizza and some menu items we might like. We did go with their pizza suggestion - The Nonna - and were very happy with it. We probably could've gotten the small, cause we had half of it leftover, but we ordered the large and took home the extra. We split a salad with gorgonzola on top - quite tasty! The manager (I believe that's who he was) came to our table several times to check on us, see how the food was and ask how we liked everything. When he heard it was our 1st time at the restaurant he sent us complimentary canollis for dessert. Super thoughtful and unexpected! Our server was very patient with my friend and I, who were there for 2 hours, since we kept talking after we finished eating. I was thankful to not be rushed & be allowed to visit with my friend, whom I don't see often. This might just become our new meeting place! One note: we got there at 6p on a weeknight and it was very busy. Within the hour it seemed to calm down and more tables opened up. So 7p might be a better...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Sicilian Oven, and I can confidently say it was one of the best pizza experiences I’ve had in a long time. The wood-fired pizza was simply amazing – perfectly crispy on the outside, with a deliciously soft and flavorful interior. The variety of toppings and the quality of ingredients were top-notch, truly reflecting the authentic taste of Sicily. Every bite was packed with flavor, making it a true standout among pizza places.
The environment at Sicilian Oven is just as impressive as the food. The cozy, inviting atmosphere made it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The warm lighting, comfortable seating, and lively ambiance created an enjoyable dining experience that felt both welcoming and vibrant. You can tell the team puts a lot of thought into making guests feel at home, and it truly enhances the overall experience.
A special mention to Marisa, who was an exceptional host during our visit. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her warm personality and genuine hospitality really made our meal even more enjoyable. It’s rare to come across someone who goes above and beyond to ensure that guests feel cared for, and Marisa did just that. We will definitely be returning to...
