First time here. I tried the margherita pizza. I asked for it cooked well so the crust was a little more ādone.ā
It was very good. The flavor was excellent. It has a very nice thin crust. The ingredients were fresh. I can tell because afterwords I didnāt have any bloating like I would with pizza places that use low quality ingredients. Many hours later and I feel fine.
My only critique is that I wish it had more basil equally distributed on it. One slice had very little whereas others had more. The basil is what makes it taste so good and wish it had more basil, and more evenly distributed.
The staff was friendly. The gentleman that made our pizza was very nice. He was not the owner. I went on a Saturday.
Thereās inside and outside seating.
There is a restroom and it is clean. There are no paper towels in the restroom. There is a hand dryer so thereās no paper towels to open the bathroom door. It would be nice if there were paper towels in the bathroom for those of us who donāt want to touch the bathroom door upon exiting. Itās more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe pizza at La Rossa is Delicious. The crust is thin with just the right amount of chewiness and the sauce has a unique flavor - really fresh and savory.
The guys that work there explained that they use imported Italian flour to make the dough, which I guess explains the amazing texture. Honestly itās better than pretty much every other pizza Iāve had Florida. The owners are from Buenos Aires - a city that is well known for outstanding pizza and it really shows in their product.
They must use that Italian flour to bread the chicken milanesa too, because it has a beautiful light crunchy crust that is really, REALLY spectacular. And I say this as a person whoās eaten milanesa in many places here and in Argentina. Theirs is⦠just wow.
They bake their own bread, and they must use that same Italian flour to make it because itās as good as everything else, which is to say amazing.
I loved this place and the guys who run it are very friendly and accommodating. My first time there made a regular out of me, and I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is for La Rossaās pizza. La Rosa also has cold and hot sandwiches and empanadas on their menu. La Rossa took over a unassuming space in a small shopping area. The place has had many unsuccessful pizza parlors so we never had interest in eating there before. We went to La Rossa for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised as how good their pizza is! First of all, the pizza is freshly made and you can see the pizzaiolo opening the dough right from the dinning room. Thin and crispy crust, fresh tomato sauce and good cheese! We had the prosciutto with arugula and we are definitely coming back! It looks like this is a family owned business so I hope you try and support your local business in Boca Raton. Update - I went back for the empadas. A bit disappointed, specially cause I really like the their pizza. The filling needs a bit more āelaborationā. The spinach one was heavy with roux and the meat empanada was clumpy...
