I've had to edit my reading from five stars to two stars. There are several reasons for this. Number one you have not been able to get hot food for over a year now. They're cold food is terrible and they didn't advertise that when you were checking out, so if you thought you were going to feed your family dinner while you're watching a movie, then sorry; not happening.
The next reason is because 9 out of 10x when I've tried to go to the website to order tickets I cannot do it. The site just sits there forever. I try to sign in and I can't. I try to go to current movies and I can't scroll through them. I try to get a future movies and I can't scroll through them, either. I contact the actual location and they say that they can't help me that their "site is currently down right now", except that they've been saying that now for over a year now. A YEAR. But, hey, instead you can download yet another app to your phone. Just for this 1 theater.
Oh & better yet is another option. I can drive all the way there, park in a parking garage, go downstairs to buy tickets in person, then go back upstairs and leave said parking garage, but be charged for an hour even if it's only 15min. So in other words I can spend 1.15 hours of my precious time just to buy tickets to a movie for another day, where I have to drive back & do the whole thing over again-??? Are you kidding me, iPic?
It does not cost that much to upgrade your internet connection & Ipic is losing so many sales this way because most of us just quit and go somewhere else. Nobody has time for this kind of stress when everywhere else it literally takes you less than a minute to order movie tickets!!!
Another complaint is that since they've converted some/most of their theaters to all-premier seating, if you try to watch the movie in row "A", you will walk away with some serious neck issues. We couldn't even see the whole movie because we had to keep taking breaks - "neck breaks" & being someone with existing neck problems, this was brutal. I saw 1/4 of the movie, the rest I listened to like it was an extremely pricey Audible. And yet they charged the same price.
I do feel for them because Covid obviously hit them hard. You could tell by the fact that the Ladies Room had a door completely missing for 2 years. But this new management seems hell-bent on ruining this place. It's a place we used to love going to as a family. Not anymore. I'd rather go to Delray, just 1 city up that has truly fantastic recliners, is clean & the food is amazing. Overall, it saves me time since I now need to drive to iPic just to purchase...
Read moreI'm NEVER upset here. I absolutely love this movie theater. There aren't a million chairs like at other theatres and they are big, red, and paired off. You can adjust them and call the waiter by using a button. There's also a little kind of table top between the two chairs to place the food and drinks (typical restaurant prices kinda like cheesecake or applebees or chili's type of $$$). However, the table piece does not move or rotate in any way so it's not ideal for eating food. You do get a pillow and a blanket so I just use my pillow as a table when my food arrives. I have to admit, that is about the only thing I can't stand. Around the time we are finished with the food, the waiter picks up our plates and brings us popcorn.... it's not the best. I like buttery and salty popcorn which is the opposite of what we get. furthermore, If I could change any of the process, it would be paying for the food. I would love it if they adopted a Chilis type of checkout where there's less interaction with the waiter and I can use a screen to order or pay instead. I'm at the movies, I hate talking or being talked to at the movies. It ruins my experience a bit but that's just cuz I'm so focused lol. Anyway, the location is so nice. It's a very beautiful plaza and they have cute shops and restaurants around. There is a parking garage behind the 2nd building btw. We didn't know that until recently because there are no signs, we always assumed there was VERY limited parking hahahah. Because of how the parking is, depending on the day, you might have to walk a bit to get to the ipic. But there's shade and pretty shops to keep the journey entertaining. Also, when you walk into Ipic, they have this gorgeous restaurant! The drinks are yum! I am a mojito fanatic. They have happy hour btw!!! Oh, one more thing... ima call them out for this (sorry not sorry). Our friend picked up our tickets at the stand when it was all under my BFF's name. They didn't ID him or anything. He just gave my friend's name. Like, what?! That's crazy and should not be allowed. There are automated systems.... soooooooooo ID or confirmations SHOULE be required if you are Picking up the tickets at the booth. So that's that. As for price.... I always go on a Tuesday when they have a deal! I buy tickets and reserve my spot online for a Tuesday for $20. Have a drink and enjoy...
Read moreFirst & formost, I hope this review reaches the public and the management that actually manages the Boca Raton / Mizner location especially if you’re considering rescheduling your tickets at a later time in the night. My date & I bought tickets to a showing for the new 2025 movie Demon Slayer (Subbed Version) for a 6:15 PM showing on Sunday, 09/21/25. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, my date & I were not able to make it to the 6:15 PM showing. However, IPIC was kind enough to provide a free-of-charge reschedule to the 10:15 PM showing. I specifically called earlier that day to ask their front desk representative to Amiya/Janiya (or whatever) if my date & I would get food service during that late night 10:15 PM showtime. Amiya/Janiya stated yes and to call back before 6:30 PM to be able to properly reschedule to the 10:15 PM showing without risk of forfeiting the refund for the tickets. My date & I attended the 10:15 PM showing; however, when we tried to place an order the attendant came over and stated that the kitchen is closed. My date & I had to sit hungry and uncomfortable for 2.5 hr movie based on misinformation. The next day, Monday, 09/22/25, I called the IPIC Guest Services Dept. and was told the following by Serenity (the same woman who helped me put on my necklace and met my date the very Sunday night in question) that IPIC Boca doesn’t provide any accommodations for circumstances as described above. In fact, Serenity stated that because my date & I sat through the movie that it forfeits our right to any sort of accommodations. Furthermore, Serenity stated the “policy solution” to what happened would’ve been for my date & I to miss the movie we paid a lot of money for since we were coming for the “IPIC Experience,” and make a complaint to have our movie rescheduled or refunded. As much as IPIC Boca Raton / Mizner Park makes from reaping the profits from ticket sales apparently supersedes quality customer service. Apparently, my date & I should’ve made a scene and ruin our date night to make a discrepancy like this the center of attention for the night. That’s the quality customer service policy that IPIC Boca / Mizner Park wants paying customers to condone? Regardless, IPIC Boca / Mizner Park can take that $52.76 for their “IPIC Experience” and my partner & I will simply take our...
