Long story short I love this charming cafe! You can find Long Story in Mizner Plaza across the street from Mizner Park. Their menu is mainly sandwiches, drinks, coffee and tea, smoothies, and acai. They have a few tables inside and a few more out front. I first fell in love with Butterfly Pea Flower at Blu Arroz Asian Bistro in Stuart. It is an amazing restaurant if you ever find yourself up that way. They make a Butterfly Pea Flower Tea that it is made from a dried, cobalt blue flower that is native to Southeast Asia. Are you ready for a laugh? Its scientific name is Clitoria ternatea. It has a bright blue color and it is sometimes used as a food coloring. I don't see it used as an ingredient too often where I live so when I heard they had drinks made with it I knew I had to come in and try them out. I came in on a late Saturday afternoon and ordered a lavender latte tea which uses the flower. You can also have the drink made with coffee. I was handed my bright blue drink and it was perfect with the right amount of sweetness. It tastes like a less intense Chai tea which they also serve. Best of all my drink was only $5 which is a pretty good price for Boca. I'm already addicted to the lavender tea so I'll be back to try some of the food next. time like their famous Japanese sando sandwich made with fresh cream and strawberries.

Long story short…just go check it out. I came across this gem of a cafe because I was tired of going to Starbucks and getting the same old thing. The second I walked in, I knew I was in the right spot. I was hit with a pleasant aroma of food and coffee; the music was chil, and the aesthetic was clean and chic. I loved that they had a decent variety of drink selection as well as actual food; and they work with local distributors, farmers and small local businesses!! The owner is also very friendly and approachable, he helped me decide on a vanilla lavender latte with cinnamon cold foam (highly recommend) . While I was there, they had a steady stream of “regulars” come in, and I was impressed at the fact that he was able to make each drink in a really timely fashion. Long story short…i’d definitely check out “long story short” for yourself.

When I went here there was only one person and the guy was really nice. He was tall with short hair and a beard, I didn’t get his name but he was pretty laid back. I got an iced latte with a croissant. But they have a pretty decent menu with other food options if you’re more hungry. The croissant was really good. It was crispy and soft. Definitely one of the better croissants I’ve had. The prices were good and the atmosphere was nice. Not a ton of seating but it was enough for the people that were in there. Also, the WiFi wasn’t working when I was there so I would double check if you wanted to do some work there. Other than that, I’d def go back.

Im always looking for the cutest places in town to grab breakfast and i came across this place on IG and came to check it out… service was poor… i was not greeted upon entering, i usually enjoy ordering multiple items off the menu, but since she was just staring at me, i felt rushed and just got a sandwich… i grabbed a sit outside, they brought me my cappuccino on a tiny paper cup, as i glanced inside and saw the beautiful big colorful mugs i was hoping to drink from… i mean, isn't that why we go to cute coffee shops? For the presentation and the feel good view!!!! i had to go back inside to grab sugar and a stirrer and the girl just looked at me and shouted isn’t it to go? Bottom line, super disappointed the bad customer service did not match the vibe i was expecting...
