🌟 Yard House – A Fantastic 1 Star Experience. "Come for the beer list, stay because your food never arrived." 🍺🕰️🍽️
Oh Yard House… where the yard is long, the wait is longer, and the disappointment is aged to perfection. 😮💨
We walked in full of hope, dreams, and hunger. We walked out with trust issues, low blood sugar, and a deep respect for granola bars. 💔🍫
The menu? 47 pages long. I thought I was reading the unabridged novel version of “War and Pizza.” By page 6, I forgot what hunger felt like and started looking up the plot of the menu on SparkNotes. 📚🤯
The server greeted us with the energy of someone who just got broken up with via Post-it note. 😐💔 When I asked if the “Korean BBQ Wings” were spicy, he blinked twice and said, “They have sauce.” Inspiring. 🔥🍗
Our drinks took 25 minutes. Which was great, because I love staring deeply into the abyss of my empty coaster and contemplating my life choices. 🥲🥃 One margarita tasted like melted lime chapstick. The other one might have had tequila. Hard to tell through the flavor of disappointment and sadness. 🍋😵
Then came the entrees, and by "came," I mean "never showed up." We watched three birthdays, two breakups, and what appeared to be a corporate hostage negotiation happen at surrounding tables, while ours sat untouched like a shrine to hunger. 🧎♂️🕯️
Eventually, our food arrived—lukewarm and confused, like it had been in an Uber Eats car that took a tour of the Everglades first. 🐊🚗🍴 The burger? Dry enough to double as a foot exfoliator. The fries? Sad, limp little potato slivers that tasted like Monday's leftovers. 🍟💀
And the ambiance? Loud enough to simulate a rock concert in a blender. 🎸🔊 I couldn’t hear myself chew, which, in hindsight, was a blessing.
💸 Total damage: $80 for the emotional rollercoaster of a mid-tier food court that thinks it's Coachella.
✨Final Thoughts: If you enjoy being spiritually tested, emotionally drained, and financially humbled… Yard House has a yard and a half waiting for you. Would I return? Only if I lose a bet or develop amnesia. 🤷♂️🧠
⭐ 1 glittering star—for the bathroom, which was clean and had a mirror I used to practice my "I’m fine" face. 🪞😐🧼
Bon appétit and good luck,...
Read moreMy recent dining experience at Yard House New American was nothing short of fantastic, and I gladly give it a well-deserved five-star rating! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the vibrant and inviting ambiance.
Their appetizers are a perfect way to start the culinary journey. I absolutely loved their truffle fries, crispy calamari, and the classic onion ring tower. Each dish was prepared to perfection and left me eagerly anticipating the main course.
Speaking of the main course, the options were plentiful and diverse, making it tough to choose just one. I finally settled on the New York steak, and it was cooked precisely to my liking—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. My dining companions raved about their choices too, which included the jambalaya, grilled salmon, and a delightful vegan pasta dish.
What impressed me the most was the thoughtful selection of craft beers and cocktails. Yard House boasts an impressive lineup of beers on tap from various local and international breweries, making it a paradise for beer enthusiasts. The bartender's creativity in mixing cocktails was evident in every sip. I tried their signature mule, and it was absolutely refreshing.
The service at Yard House was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Our server went the extra mile to ensure our needs were met, and it truly made us feel welcome.
The restaurant's ambiance is fantastic—modern, trendy, and comfortable. The combination of dim lighting and vibrant colors created a cozy yet energetic atmosphere, perfect for both intimate dinners and group gatherings.
Overall, Yard House New American exceeded my expectations in every way. The delicious food, wide selection of beverages, excellent service, and inviting ambiance make it a standout restaurant...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at YardHouse was so bad that I feel compelled to share. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was abysmal. Every employee we encountered seemed burned out and uninterested in providing even basic hospitality.
We started the night by asking our waiter about happy hour specials, and he assured us we had made it in time. Based on his confirmation, we ordered multiple drinks, assuming they were at the happy hour price. However, when the bill arrived, we were charged full price. When we brought this up to the manager, Roy, his response was shockingly rude and dismissive. Instead of addressing the clear miscommunication, he simply stated that "tonight is not happy hour," showing no concern that his employee had misinformed us.
Adding to the frustration, our waiter forgot multiple items throughout the night. The most ridiculous delay was a side of fries that we waited nearly two hours for—only receiving them as we were boxing up our food to leave. On top of that, when I accidentally spilled a ginger ale, not a single employee acknowledged it or offered assistance, despite it being quite loud and obvious. I had to clean it up myself with whatever napkins I had.
To his credit, our waiter did apologize at the end and even suggested we take the cost of the incorrect happy hour charges out of his tip. While I appreciate his acknowledgment, it shouldn’t have come to that in the first place. Between the dismissive management, the inattentive service, and the complete lack of hospitality, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. We will not...
