In Boca Raton fleeing the latest hurricane and found this accessible restaurant featuring Caribbean dishes. Conveniently located in the Boca Raton Marriott. Fried plantain chips with garlic aioli is a great appetizer. Followed with the salad with candied pecans and mango offering a great fusion of southern flavor and island fruitiness. The ample portion of salmon with mango salsa, asparagus, and rice filled our choices for tonight. Enjoy! The service was excellent. Would have had 5 stars but the asparagus I really prefer al dente. We shared these plates and it was a good choice as the portions are generous. Came back today for another dinner. Started with the chicken empanadas with cilantro salsa. The salsa was.excellent and a bit of heat, picoso. Next time I think I would try the beef empanadas because of the texture of the chicken. Next the burata salad was a real pleaser with a soft burata cheese and balsamic vinegar and garlic cloves. We finished with the Florida grouper, asparagus, and potatoes. The blackened flavor and the sauce on the grouper make a nice combination. The mashed potatoes are just like my homemade from scratch. The asparagus was closer to al dente tonight and makes miss my asparagus garden in NC. Ken and I shared this nice meal again and the portions were generous and ample for both of us. Service was excellent again, this time our server was Tony. Third night here on Boca Raton. We are starting with truffle fries and the jerk wings. The parmesan sprinkled on the fries makes them even more tasty. The jerk wings were flavorful as expected Tonight we will skip the salad and enjoy escabeche for the main dish. The sauce was very flavorful and a nice surprise with the baked chicken. Our friendly server tonight was Jeremiah.

Just Terrible!! I don’t ever have high standards for a hotel restaurant, however this place is below any possible level. Order coconut shrimp, though I would be safe with something fried. Not only did it not have any flavor of coconut, but the shrimp inside ( well I think it was shrimp) was nothing but mush! Also ordered the beef empanadas, so dry and very little filling it just east worth eating, ordered jerk chicken wing, they were cooked perfect but no jerk flavoring. Just deep fried.

Started with the calamari. The menu said it was made with cherry peppers, but I think they forgot them? Had the Boca Bronco burger. It was good. Seems like only 1 person in the front working so service wasn't so spectacular.

I had the pleasure of dining at Sonrisa restaurant at the Marriott Hotel in Boca, and I can't recommend it enough, especially thanks to the exceptional service provided by Sandra and Tammy. From the moment we arrived, they made our family feel incredibly welcome. We have a small baby and a toddler, and they were so thoughtful and attentive, ensuring our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable.

Tammy was truly above and beyond—she remembered our usual order after just a day or so, which made us feel like VIPs! Her warm greetings and personalized touch made every meal extra special. Sandra, too, was incredibly warm and welcoming, always checking in to ensure everything was perfect and that we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail was second to none, and it was clear that they genuinely care about providing the best experience for their guests.

If you're looking for a wonderful dining experience with outstanding hospitality, I highly recommend Sonrisa and would especially like to commend Sandra and Tammy for making our visit so memorable. Thank you both for making us feel...

First, thank you to management for lowering the music for breakfast and making the breakfast area a "quiet place to eat" and enjoy uour morning!

Thanks always to MARY ROSE who makes my incredible fried eggs, " my way". She so nicely makes my fried eggs' request perfectly!!!!! Also, the fantastic customer service from our favorite team of servers: "NEIL", Darlene, And GRACE is always above and beyond our expectations! Neil has been waiting on my husband and I for a very long time and he is loved dearly by us. We live in Deerfield and drive all the way to the Marriott for breakfast just for him, and the team mentioned above. Note to management: WE HOPE YOU APPRECIATE EACH OF THEM! TEAM MEMBERS WITH THIS KKND OG CUSTOMER SERVICE SPIRIT IS PRETTY MUCH NON- EXISTENT IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS OR ANYWHERE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER. Blessings and Thank You! Pete...
