Lolita's — Restaurant in Boise

The menu itself looks like it’s been printed out by a printer and then put behind a plastic cover. If they took time to make a real waterproof menu, then I think they would get a lot more business, but that’s just my opinion. However, This Place is an amazing place to eat if you love authentic Mexican food. If you’re not a local, this is the place that the locals go. This place is next to a college so There’s a lot of activity around that area. But back to the food, I recommend the Carne Asada tacos because it’s $12 for three of them. All in all I'd say it's a solid 4.4, almost 5 stars. They have a good selection, good pricing, great service and quite a few seats for a taco truck. They even have a covered area with a few tables in it and a table outside to enjoy the day. All tacos were good. The pork both Adobada and Carnitas were very yummy. If I was only going to grab 4 tacos I would probably go 2 & 2. The Quesabirria and Lengua were also very good, those would be the 5th and 6th. Asada was not bad, just basic, fairly normal for Taco places in the Valley. They had a green salsa that was very mild, but also not too flavorful. I just recently moved to Boise for work Orginally from Central California, where Mexican food is king! I tried tacos in Cen. Cal., North. Cal, South Cali, Arizona Texas etc. I currently live in Vegas but Lolita's in Boise Idaho hits home.
