We have been fans and customers of The Ram for years but are DONE after our latest visit. I vented below about our entire experience, but in a nutshell, we had awful service that we told a manager about and he DEFENDED his unfriendly, unprofessional staff member instead of trying to make it right. SO disappointing. We won't be back if that's the attitude of management. Now the full story if you want it:
We sat in the bar on the night of a concert at Taco Bell Arena. After asking about happy hour, we were bluntly told by our server (who took forever to stop by) they don't do happy hour during events because they're so busy they don't need to. Thank you for admitting to us that you blatantly take advantage of event-goers. They also had a ridiculously small menu to offer that night, it was so weird. NO full menu was available.
Unfriendly server took our drink order and appetizer order and then never stopped by again. Ever. Someone else brought our beers, someone different brought our app, and we were never asked if we wanted to order dinner (which we did, we were starving!). After drinks were empty and app was gone, with still ZERO eye contact from our server who kept walking by without stopping, we flagged down a manager and asked for our bill. We also explained how unhappy we were with our service. Instead of apologizing and offering to make it up to us, he blamed the "busy night" and "things get hectic." Then brought us our full ticket and thanked us for coming.
While the service alone was enough to tick us off, it was the attitude of the management that really put us over the edge. His unwillingness to accept responsibility for the poor behavior of his staff and his lack of concern for our experience has turned us...
Read moreWas having a romantic and spotanious afternoon/evening with my wife. We decided to go to The Ram for dinner to give it a try for the first time. We got sat in the middle of four families with a lot of small children. We could hardly hear each other. The appetizer arrived, the chicken floutas. They were really good. That was the only good thing about the whole experience unfortunately. Our dinner came. We asked for fry sauce and they offered some thousand island with horseradish combo. We dislike both of those, so the waiter brought mayo so we could mix it ourselves with ketchup. I got the french dip with garlic fries. The garlic was so overwhelming that I only ate about 5 or 6 fries and gave up on them. They smelled the entire table up, it was bad. The aus jus must have spilled on transit because the bottom of my sandwich and plate was wet and soggy. The beef was rediculously salty on the sandwich too. I wanted to take a sip of water after every bite. Too bad my cup was full to the brim with ice and not water. I only ate half of it and gave up on that too. My wife got a burger. It was really bland. It tasted like they didn't season it at all. I could tell the waiter knew we were upset but didn't ask about it and kind of rushed us out once he realized we weren't too thrilled with our meal. Together we ate maybe 25% of what we recieved and paid 40 dollars for it. Not a good experience, and let our romantic...

My family was sat at a small table by the curving brick column. The restaurant was not busy, and it seemed to have enough staff to cover the half a dozen tables that were occupied. Our waiter, name forgotten, but he resembles the actor Pat Oswalt. He took our drink order, which we got after a few minutes later. In the ensuring 10-15+ minutes my family was ready to order our food but he routinely ignored our table. Eventually my dad has to track him down by the waiter service station and tell him that we have been waiting and were ready to order our food.
He was indignant but did come over to take our order. We now faced a 40 minute wait in which the other tables behind us got frequent refills, I had to go to the service station and asked a busboy to refill my soda. The other patrons who were sat after us, ordered after us, and were frequently checked in on by our waiter; but not my family’s table. My dad complained to the manager, but the waiter still ignored us. Eventually when the other tables began to receive their food, ours was still in kitchen for some reason, my family made the decision to get up and leave. We have never done this at either Ram location, honestly I’m extremely embarrassed because we didn’t pay for our drinks; but the horrible service provided to us by this one horrible waiter left us with no choice...
