First off I was absolutely looking forward to trying their pizza and service etc....

Do not I repeat do not go there!

Bullet point of bad impression undercooked pizza, the crust wasn’t crust it was still dough, the pepperoni was put in last minute because the forgot and it was raw and not cooked. The sausage was so undercooked it was rubbery. The green pepper was still cold. And the cheese, it was almost like they cooked the pizza under the warming lights. service(jack) poor young man didn’t want to even come back to apologize it was that bad I tipped him $6 just because I felt bad for him! He also indicated it wasn’t his first bad review from customers. the manager Jessica was very good and felt horrible about the service. Made no excuses and said she would have another manager come over. In comes second manager whom I recognized who was smoking by the back door of the restaurant 40 mins prior to me walking in. She must have had another “smoke break” as she reaks of smoke and I basically threw up in my mouth when she approached our table it was that strong. So new restaurant and it was busy and the manager has time to take two smoke breaks in 40 mins?!!! (I apologize but I didn’t grab her name cause I was putting food in a napkin cause I almost barfed it up due to the smell! pizza sauce- what happened to we lay it on thick? Barely a ladel of sauce it was so minimal.

also the manager(Smokey second one) attempted to argue with me as I had her roll the center(crust/really dough) into like a croissant it was so undercooked.

I decided to go to the best served food I know late at night Bull Dogs Ale House and I am happy to say I’m sitting here right now enjoying a green beer. I am absolutely appalled that the owners would open beggars new location and on a holiday weekend not stay around there restaurant and help train there new staff. Shame on you.

So I say stay away, no I didn’t pay for my entire meal we left after we each tried a piece. Yes they offered me to come back, but even my 12/10 yr old said I could make a better...

Horrid experience!! On Fathers day at that. We called in to order and expected everything to be fine and delicious as usual. We normally go to the one in Plainfield which is better but decided to give bolingbrook a try. We drove 20 mins there, recieved our pizza drove 20 minutes back home only to taste what seemed to be an old hard crusted pizza. So my wife explained to them the pizza sausages taste old and the pizza is horrendous. They put her on hold for 10 minutes only to tell us we need to bring the pizza back for a refund, so we did. Once there, we had to state the same exact thing to the store manager. He paused as in if we're lying and stated that they check their meat every morning and haven't had any issues. So I politely told him I wouldn't be here if the pizza wasn't bad, take a bite of one of them. He didn't want to and asked me again, it's the sausage that's bad right? Like how many times your customers have to repeat the same thing! Why treat me like a liar. Eventually after 3 long hard pauses he stated, because you brought the whole pizza back I'm either going to refund you or put it on customer credit.

No apology, no ephathy considering the holiday, and to have the audacity to say because we brought the whole pizza back as in if that's the reason for the refund. What, we were going to eat half of this pathetic nasty pizza and complain about it? Really smart

If you choose to eat here, check your pizza before leave out of this particular branch. I won't be going back and will tell everyone I know to...

Flip a coin. I’ve had some great pizzas from this location. I’ve had some mediocre ones as well. The order before last was like cardboard. Very little sauce and cheese almost plastic like it had been sitting out a while. I call to order this past order and mention to their “call center” hey the last pizza wasn’t the best. Can you tell them to add a bit more of sauce on this one. Come to find out I get charged for sauce as an additional topping. Ha. Nice didn’t know tomato sauce ran the same as sausage or pepperoni. This isn’t the first time I’ve have had problems with this location. Ask for a manager, the issue is usually blamed on the “call center”. And nothing is done. “Sorry you were told that. I don’t know why they’d tell you ...”. Or flyer sent to my home with a deal & that the price wasn’t honored.. I don’t think I was part of the big cheese club so I joined... I call. Order the deal. Ohh that’s for big cheese members It says nothing about that on the flyer. “Oh yeah it was a mistake on the printers. It’s supposed to be for members” ok I’ll join. “That’s fine but you can’t have the deal today.” Why It’s for past members. Lol. Why did this come to my house then

Stuff like that so...

Beggars can't be choosers. Except I'm not a beggar and this was expensive and not great. The food is a solid meh. Having just moved to Illinois, we are looking for a good, go-to pizza place on a Friday night. Beggars Pizza does not make the cut--not in the least. We ordered a personal and medium pizza plus dough bites. It cost $39.32. That's not a lot of food and I expect really good food for that price. The pizza was only okay. Plenty of cheese and generous toppings. We ordered the thin crust which tough--really odd that thin crust would be tough, but it was. Overall, the pizza was lacking flavor. The dough bites were simply nasty. You can see the grease soaking the boxes by the time I got home from picking it up. Interesting that the dough bites were dry except when you bite into them, that's when you taste nothing but grease. We actually could squeeze the grease out of these onto a plate. This left a really bad taste with everyone. Beggars Pizza wasn't good enough for us give it a second chance or second thought.

We had a great experience at Beggars lunch pizza buffet. Currently offered Monday-Friday from 11-2. $28.50 for the two of us including tax before tip. We were seated right away, and the buffet price included a soda, which was a nice perk. The salad bar featured a romaine and iceberg lettuce mix, along with a decent variety of toppings. There were also pasta options—both spaghetti and penne with marinara sauce. The pizza selection included several thin crust and deep dish options. Everything on the buffet was well-stocked and fresh. The food was warm (not hot), but still tasted fresh and satisfying. For dessert, they had a cookie pizza, which was a fun and tasty treat. Service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Overall, a solid lunch buffet experience that we’d definitely return for.
