I loved their ice cream before this location is opened. We used to drive to South Naples in the past. I gave 1 star because I received worst service during my first visit to this location. The server charged me full ice cream price for 1 spoon of whipped cream for my pup. It's like ripping off. On asking her, she told me they charge per cup. They gave me wipp cream in a regular ice cream cup, that was their choice. I didn't ask. She replied rudely this is how they provide pup cup. The other customer listening to us told me just get full scoop and whip cream on the top as I am already paying for it. Another one told me not to get all all. I am not strong in creating drama, so paid and walked way. I am not going back there again. There is another local friendly place in the publix plaza across the street and they also serve good ice cream. Also royal scoop is nearby.
This is an answer to your reply in continuing feedback as doesn't find an option to reply. First, I am not a lier. The server who served was a teenage girl. 2 days after the opening of the location. At least dress, sounded, and looked like a girl. Thank you for taking concern. Changing a customer $5.50+ tax for 1 tbl spoon whipped cream is a ripped off in my opinion. Specifically you do not disclose upfront. My complain is for unreasonable price. I own a small business too. You may not like pets, but most people do. It will help your business if you consider to sell them on reasonable price and train your staff to be upfront about it. Good to even put price...
Read moreThe service, food, and environment as a whole was amazing and perfect for a date, friends, or family. There was one guy serving the ice cream and he was very interactive and inviting for new customers. All the ice cream is made in house fresh daily and the assortment of ice cream was unbelievable. Not only that, but they also have homemade smoothies/slushies as well as other food items, such as popsicles, that are also homemade. The main thing that’s going to make me come back is the prices. In this area of Naples, a scoop of ice cream can run you like 7-8$ and that’s for a very small scoop. Here the price for a single scoop is 5.25$ and the scoops are huge, almost as if I bought two. I’ll definitely be revisiting this...
Read moreMichoacana is what ice cream should be… homemade, full of heart, and served by people who actually care. The second you walk in, it’s clear this isn’t some polished chain experience. It’s better. It’s real. It’s run by folks who take pride in what they do, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want after a hot Florida day with your kids!
My kids love it here. I love that I’m supporting a small business that’s doing things right. In a world overrun by corporate ice cream and fake vibes, Michoacana stands out by being authentic.
We’ll be back....
