My fiancé and I went in to this location on Wednesday at about 6pm, expecting it to be very busy. To our surprise we walked in and were seated right away, unfortunately enough our experience was very sub par. We thought the tables being elbow to elbow was going to be our biggest issue. However our waiter brought us the 'cold' complementary bread, then served my Cesar salad with his thumb in the bowl. Secondly, we had ordered a side of the steamed "mixed" veggies to us only getting cut up steamed zucchinis. Nothing mixed about it, compared to our previous encounters at Outback the 'mixed' was always a combination of steamed broccoli and actual vegetables. We had to get the baked potato to compliment our steak, but unfortunately the potato was also undercooked on both of our plates ( I've never had a medium rare baked potato). The Sweet Tea that I always looked forward to was upsettingly bland. But of course we did try giving them the benefit of the doubt, as it was towards the end of the day. We tried to give them a chance, and asked the waiter to bring us a dessert to finish off our disappointing visit. The waiter brought us the check instead, after waiting at least 10 min for the to-go box we had asked for BEFORE he asked about the dessert. So not only were we disappointed, but we were also unheard. Looking forward to at least try the dessert, specifically asking for it. We paid, we walked out, and of course the 2 employees at the front desk only looked at us as we walked out and turned their backs instead. So to top it off, we didn't even get a "Thank you! Hope you enjoyed," Nothing! I would say it may have just been a bad visit for us, but the 2 couples next to us also seemed disappointed, as neither parties finished their meals and just took everything home. Plus the table left their entire plate of 'mixed' veggies for us to laugh at. Entirely the whole experience only lasted us a good 40 min, that would have been great had all of the food been up to our usual expectation of Outback. This however, seemed rushed and inexcusable as the evening was not even busy. Will not likely return to this Outback which is unfortunate as my job is just...
Read moreI went to the outback steakhouse on 951 & Immokalee rd in naples florida today and I just wanted to post this because I feel like people don't think twice about the way they treat their servers and bartenders. Especially during this time being hurricane Ian just hit and is absolutely devastating. First of all especially in this area being naples fort Myers ect people are going through something that is unexplainable loss of homes friends family loved ones and everything they work everyday for. Second of all they are at work to serve people who do not have the proper things to be able to eat at home or feed their kids & knowing what they have going on at home and knowing they probably don't even have a home to go to or that they will be sitting in the dark for God knows how long. I witnessed a server/bar tender the name of Madison who was treated so poorly by her customers being that they were rushing her talking to her in a disrespectful way not even thinking that maybe she has been affected by this storm along with her family , but she kept a smile and treated them and everyone else she came across with respect and dignity. My point behind this review is just to take a second to remind people to be kind to one another & take in to consideration what others may be going through when they are not at work. Also that regardless of what they have going on they still got up got themselves together and came into work to serve others to make sure others are treated the way they should be in a time like this so please be kind to each other. It's times like this that I think what the hell as happened...
Read moreMe and my dear dear wife, Claire, and I were extremely excited to celebrate our 1st anniversary. I love this woman very much and wanted to treat her to exquisite steak dinner at Outback. I have always loved Outback. My dear wife also loves outback. We were very excited. However, Out back at Founder Square did not seem to satisfy our love for steakhouses. In fact, It has cause me and my dear wife Claire to never eat a piece of delicious medium rare steak again. We walked in and immediately were herded around like cattle. The employees seem to have no understanding of genuine human interactions. It is as if they were robots. Finally, after 45mins of waiting for a table in a restaurant that was practically empty we were seated. The table of course was extremely disgusting. At first the server seemed like a "nice guy" but soon we would realize that we were quite wrong. I ordered my favorite New York Strip. However, what i received was most definitely not New York Strip. It was a steak and it somewhat tasted good. I would much rather have eaten a steak at IHOP. They would at least know how to treat a human as a human. We ended the night with a judgment glare from Ryan who didnt seem to care about us at all. As I got up from my seat I couldnt help but notice how my pants were literally stuck to it becasue it was so sticky and disgusting. Thank you Outback for putting me on the track...
