P.F. Chang's — Restaurant in Bonita Springs

I have never written a bad review on any Restaurant , but I was so upset and disappointed I felt I have to say something. I was having a Mother Daughter day. and we chose this Restaurant to eat . It was around 4 o’clock in the afternoon, as we entered the restaurant there was a little stand in the front that the hostess and waitresses were standing around. We stood there for a good 30 seconds and no one acknowledged us. The waitresses were standing and complaining about no help. The hostess turned around a couple times I looked at us, but never said a word just turn around and continue talking to the waitresses. We finally get seated, and there was a couple and one lady sitting on the side that we were on. The waitress was at the couples table, and I overheard them talking, and apparently she did not like what the man had to say, she walked past our table and was saying a few choice words about the man. She finally walked over to our table and rudely said, is anyone helped you, and we stated no.she asked what do you want ,we gave her our drink orders, and she walked away from the table. After a few minutes A family came in and sat in the table behind us, the waitress went over to their table, and proceeded to take their drink orders, and their food order, when we still have not even received our drink orders. When we finally received our drink orders, we tried to have a conversation with the waitress. She was rudely, ignoring us, and would not answer any of our questions. We chalked it up that she was just having a bad day. We finally received our food, the waitress never once came to our table to ask us if everything was OK, she never came to refill our drinks. My daughter stopped her as she was walking by and asked if she could have a refill please the waitress looked up at my daughter, and said “ Ugg” Very loudly. At this point, I’m starting to get very mad, but all I could say was WOW. We noticed my daughters drink, said at the bar for quite a long time before it was brought to her. The waitress came over to give me my check and noticed then that my daughter didn’t have her drink, went back to the bar and brought her her drink. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps because we love them, my daughter and I were still eating them, The waitress walked by grab the lettuce, chicken wraps, and headed to the back of the kitchen. We both looked at each other and was like “ WOW” I guess we’re not eating those. At this point It’s a dilemma in my mind, if I should ever return to this...

Dear P.F. Chang’s Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience we had during our recent visit to your [location] restaurant on [date]. We chose your restaurant to celebrate a special birthday, but unfortunately, the evening did not go as we had hoped. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the air conditioning was not functioning properly. The restaurant was uncomfortably warm, which made the entire experience unpleasant. Additionally, our server was not attentive. We noticed our drinks sitting at the bar for about 15 minutes while the server was outside on the restaurant's patio smoking. It wasn't until the bartender intervened that the drinks were brought to our table, and even then, it was the manager who finally delivered them. The issues did not stop there. Our appetizers were served sporadically despite us ordering similar items, and when our entrees finally arrived, several were missing sides. When it came time to settle the bill, there was unnecessary confusion as our server provided us with two sets of checks—one with incorrect pricing without specials and one with the correct pricing. It appeared to be an attempt to receive an additional tip on top of the 20% gratuity that was already included. This left us feeling frustrated and disappointed. Unfortunately, our server did not acknowledge or apologize for any of the issues we encountered. Our plans for the evening, which included enjoying a birthday cake at the restaurant and continuing our celebration afterward, were completely derailed by this experience. We left the restaurant feeling upset and with a ruined celebration. I believe that P.F. Chang’s strives to provide a high level of service, but this experience fell far short of those expectations. I wanted to bring these issues to your attention so that you are aware and can take the necessary steps to ensure this does not happen to other guests. Went to #P.F.Changs for their terrific $13.99 lunch special with the family today. You really can't beat this special anywhere. Great food at a terrific price. Includes a starter, a entrée and rice or noodles. We also started with an appetizer of their crispy green beans. They are the absolute best we have ever had anywhere. We have tried them in other restaurants numerous times, nothing compares. They are lightly battered, perfectly seasoned, crispy fried and delivered to your table with a special sauce that you can't get enough of. You will find yourself double and triple dipping! Then came the other starters ordered with our lunch. I had the pork eggroll, our son had the house salad, and hubby had the sweet & sour soup. We each loved our choices. Our son loves salads, I have never seen him devour a salad like he did this one! It was clearly very tasty! As we sat enjoying the decor and our appetizers, snapping a few photos. We started feeling like we were transported to another space or country, really appreciating all the thought and care that went into creating such an experience. Next up the entrées, my teriyaki chicken with fried rice was delivered piping hot, as was our sons' spicy chicken with noodles and my hubby's Mongolian beef with fried rice. The flavor and detail to each plate could clearly be seen and tasted in each bite @PFChangs . Enjoy a special lunch get-together with friends, coworkers, or maybe reconnect with a few family members or that special one that you would not be here without. If they ask what prompted this terrific surprise, say... just because and flash them that smile they gave you. Slow down and enjoy a great lunch or dinner with those special people in your life!
